Naturally it's not possible to change the scaling of all objects and decorations in the game (to make it look less like an anthill) but there are two things I'm interested if you could do:
- increasing the angle the camera can rotate in (it's only 180° now I guess), because sometimes you cannot rotate it in the way you would like to see something better
- increasing the zoom possibilities to enable to move the camera further to the surface (as you did in combat)

Here you go. Make sure to back-up your old one and tell me if any problems arise (still the same folder as the one for h7combatgeneral.upk, the data folder). I also increased the zoom out distance so you can pretty much see the whole map.

nah, it was only 80°, I increased it now to 180°
*note to self:
+ turn on alpha mask for bone dragon
+ edit the hero auras
+ remove the spiderwebz from necropolis town or make a new one

LizardWarrior thanks for your awesome work, but is it possible to make camera to move up and down, something like Heroes V or King's Bounty. To have view above hero.

I don't know how to describe it. Maybe as changing camera angle vertically. You know when hold right mouse button in either Heroes V or King's Bounty and move mouse up and down

Basically, change the elevation of the camera, while preserving the angle and pitch.

It seems strange since movement points are tied with heroes stats, but we will have to troubleshoot it (maybe it's something wrong with path costs):
* does it work fine with the original file?
* do you run other mods besides it?
* do you have the expansion (this may be a problem since I made it for vanilla)

1) Yes it does, I verified the game files via Uplay and installed the mod again - the problem persisted. I uninstalled the mod - and it works as intended now.
2) I have installed only the Scaled Creatures Mod by mr3lion and the New Duel Heroes Mod by Libertad. However, I uninstalled them for some time to see if any change occurs - and it did not.
3) Not yet.

You do make me wonder though ... did they "fix" anything that caused your fix to unfix the Hero movement?

Does this mod allow to have a more vertical angle while allowing to have a mid level zoom? Because I just started the game and I get the angle I want only when I completely zoom out which doesn't help a lot.

Hey Lizard, great mod for the camera on the Adventure map here (-:
I already liked the combat one but this makes the movement on the map much more enjoyable, now i've noticed a Problem with it. When i use it and open the H7 editor i get this
H7PathList H7AdventureGeneral.A_LayerGroup_RoughTerrain in H7SkillExploration
H7AdventureLayerCellProperty H7AdventureGeneral.LayerCellData.RoadLayerCellData in Buildings_Fortress
H7PathList H7AdventureGeneral.A_LayerGroup_RoughTerrain in H7HeroSpecializations
These ressources have not been found, so the game wants to set em to 0, i dont know about he second one for sure, but i think u misses files when u created the mod, to be specific the A_LAyerGroup_Rough Terrain in H7AdventureGeneral, which is uses for the rough Terrain skills in explo skill and in the herospecialization, if u would fix that, would be very cool (: maybe im wrong tough but i checked the skill in Exploration and the reference is missing so i think im right
