How to make my own script
Hello
So, I have reach a point where I could roughly understand many of wog scripts (wog 1.58f)
I did like many of the changes wog scripts did (particularly script 37 and scrpit 39 rebalanced hero abilities and specialty boost)
however there are still some changes I did not like in script 37. I also want to add some changes inspired by script 37 (E.g. make neela start with 3 armor, and make Torosar with archery specialty and fiur with offence specialty)
So, I was thinking of making my own script, implementing collection of changes from many scripts and creating few more. I already put some scripts in some maps, but it takes lot of time to do that in each map, so I want to out it all in one script and make it work for all maps. How can I do this? if this is not possible, or very tedious, maybe I can have the script in particular file (OrcScript.erm), and then write a code in each map saying (run OrcScript.erm) is that possible?
I had the solution below in mind, what do you think of it? is it applicable with no problems?
lets say I have script73.erm and I never use it. Is it possible to delete that script, or give it another name, and then write my own script and naming it script73.erm (i.e. change the whole thing in that script). can that work with no problems? I am thinking that the only problem that I will face will be just that that text will be for the old script but the actual thing that will run will all be my changes only. Is that true? or you think something else can pop up?
I am not sure if anything else is needed, but if you think there is something in this regard that I am ignorant about, feel free to put it here too
Thanks!
