Tweaks that should be implemented to H3
Hello guys.
I was watching scripts and saw some of the small balancing tweaks that I liked.
This inspired me with a little more balancing ideas, and I thought maybe I can get some more here. What small balance changes you think are worth doing? you know, something that you feel is wrong and can be better?
I will put some of my balance thoughts here just to give your thinking a momentum, and maybe something comes to your mind while you're reading it (some is from me and some from wog script or other places)
1-) I liked HotA scouting skill change (1, 3, 5 squares extra sight)
2-)I liked wog changing Fiur to be offense specialist (because conflux has many redundant specialties and offense specialty fits his bio)
3-) I also liked erdamon(magma elemental) starting with armorer
4-) I will make Lacus (the fish man) and Torosar archery specialists. I will also make thunar start with learning (to fit his bio and to get rid of useless estate)
5-)Since Demoniacs have 10 chance to roll Logistic skill, it fits that they have logistic specialists, so I will make Pyre Logistic specialists instead of ballista XD
6-)I will make Daremyth int specialist instead of fortune specialist. Maybe I will change meloda specialty as well
7-)I will change mysticism for alchemists and give them learning instead (learning is not bad in wog because it gives extra primary skills and also learns XP every day)
8-)I am not sure what to do with ballista specialists. I want to either change their specialty or make it more useful (Hero specialty boost only gave them flyer commander or death stare commander or something, but i never use commander)
9-) maybe remove scholar from Neela and give her adv armorer instead, and also change to tazar to armorer + tactics instead of advanced armoer?
what do you think?

I once had a desire to change a lot of heroes skills (and specialities), but after a lot of playing and testing I realiaed: The heroes were designed this way, some good, some bad, but they were designed this way, so I don't really wan't to change them.
The only exception are heroes starting with Learning, as that skill is absolute garbage, but Loynis deserves to start with it.
Also separating Thunar and Erdamon crossed my mind a few times and I generally find Planeswalkers pretty boring, they all have the same skills and specialities...

it is true that some changes can break the balance of the game if not well thought. However, it doesnt mean that the game is at its best state. there can be many changes that makes the game better withought breaking the balance
