Palingenesis vs Diegis:
Nice game, exciting till the end  I suspected dungeon would lose when I saw the warlock's mana, on one hand you have to be careful with your empowered spell costs, on the other dwarves may revive themselves if you don't finish them off. I think I'd have split the priests for extra fireball damage as 10 battleragers can't make a big difference. That ice mastery really paid off at the end, the hydras barely acted.
Palingenesis vs Frosty:
Lol @ Frosty's stats, that's a battlemage not a warlock  I think dungeon won because the blackies remained alive till lategame and palingenesis could not kill them with his army. But he was missing a berserker stack and the split skirmishers could not help much. Criple special is hp based so it's harder to trigger in few numbers. I think light would have worked better with those stats.
Diegis vs Poly:
Lol I should give you a Poly Slayer achievement  I play friendly duels with him, he's not part of this tourney. The player list is in the masterpost if you are ever in doubt.
About the game, unfortunate build on poly's end. No might skills to help him take down the blackies and wm that can be insta-killed by cold death. Can work but it's risky.

Green Dragon and me just had our match. We chose random factions and he got Necro while I got my nemesis faction Stronghold. Unfortunately, the game crashed before we could save the replay. However, shortly before that he managed to win the match quite convincingly with a beautiful vintage necro mixture of dark magic, summoning and defense.

Thanks! I figured you would get that shatter dark magic  So I went for those might skills + summons.
But yeah something is messing up on my end. First friendly match I had the game crashed right when it was getting good.
About the last duel...I thought the game was suppose to end after the fight? so when it didn't I minimized it and then gameranger crashed. Never got a chance to save it

Just for the record, I randomed and DIEGIS selected, also a load was involved because I got stuck without an army. The battle itself was entertaining until the end, DIEGIS played fairly well.

So I had first few games on the map. It´s really nice, spectacular job Elvin!
My only real concern is the change to mass spells. It was made by a good reason like that in 3.1 and I think changing it is a mistake. Decay was made to squares because it would be too powerfull otherwise, but other should really be all units imo. If it stays like this I will never choose it again (heads up to my opponents lol ). It might make sense if you go for full defensive position (which you cant afford against destructive magic though...).

I had a match with gameslayer, both of us picking random teams. He ended up with Necro and me with Academy. He has recorded a youtube video, which hopefully makes up for the fact that we both forgot to save the replay. I pressured him first with destructive magic, but he remained level-headed and eventually used the counterspell to undermine my sorcery. He came out victorious in the end.

Aye t'was a great game. The wizard had prepared his forces well, choosing to forgo the mechanical golems in favour of 2 stacks of djinns. This allowed him to bless his army and curse my own heavily. Unfortunately for him, I was absolutly terrified of a light magic wizard so had brought Wraiths. With their spectral touch his highly stacked colossus and Rakasha's were doomed to fall eventually, the question was when. I had brought expert war machines, with the plague tent and the ballista, which the wizard easily destroyed with his mastery of ice magic. With a full skill set countered, it was a scary beginning. The necromancer however had puppet master, which he used to keep the Rakasha's out of the game when they were most needed, as he charged straight forward; knowing that with the elements themselves on his opponents side, and lacking a full stack of creatures from the golems, the time to strike was nigh. His attack stat was 1 though, so the charge was not exactly the most glorious. Finally his wild card came into effect: A fully explored sorcery tree. With expert sorcery and counter spells, he was able to delay his opponents barrage long enough, whilst sneaking a decay in here and there, to eventually have his guaranteed kill-1-enemy-per-turn wraiths take the field and triumph. The fury of the Wizard was so great that he caused giant meteors to fall from the sky onto his own army as his forces dwindled to nothing.

Clear thought process, you processed the information from the descriptions and considered strengths and weaknesses before picking build and artifacts.
I would use plague tent on titans though. On top of the big guys being harder to kill, the archmage's next turn was right after your hero so you could puppet them too. If the opponent did not use haste or your puppet was not mirrored anyway ^^ Sometimes it's worth leaving your puppet on a unit that is slow to act, if only to keep it off your back.
Magic fisting these guys haha  And actually a player can get out of counterspell by using a mass spell or using a unit spell. Also by continuous casting because expert sorcery is more powerful than distract. That might take a while though
Fun game, you get a librarian achievement.
