well, seems best to ask owner first...only because it can save lots of time. Ive converted Showdown from h3 to h4 already, and am in the works of converting my old popular 2v2 map criss cross.
I dont have immediate plans to convert anymore maps. mostly want new maps, but there a select few here and there that I wouldnt want converted unless I did it myself..only because nothin bugged me more than someone takin 1 of my h3 maps and editing everything to a version they like

Camelnor,
You should notice that you must place relic artifacts in front of each of the gold mines. You placed major one instead. Please make it relic.

Hmmm... I thought I had explained that already... ah, it was in the Heroes 4 forum, not ToH one.
Here is the explanation, quoted from the other forum when I explained this...
"... like a random major arty... (I didnt do relics, because there is no "random relic" option in h4 map editor (I wonder why?), so the islands would have the same relics every time, and people would memorize them, etc.  , and anyhow, the major artys are pretty damn strong) ..."

I fully agree with Camelnor.
1- there is no random relic
2- a relic would make the map bent (too powerful)
I wouldn't accept any other version of CC.

Yes.
If you'll notice, some of the major artifacts include:
Tomes of all the different magic schools
Tome of all L5 Spells
Winged Sandals (like boots of levitation)
and many other artys that are similar in effects to H3 relics.
All these artys were relics in Homm3.
Now, of course the tomes arent as powerful, as you need the appropriate skill to cast them (I wish this wasnt so, as you have worked that hard to get the artifact, shouldnt you be able to use it?), but still are pretty good.
And yeah, no random relic (i have no idea why) makes it impossible to put them on the map anyway.
