I only have one name for snow, but I guess depending on how it comes out of you, you could make 50 different names. Why Greenlanders (Greenlandic? Greenlandese? Greenlandian?) are so advanced with snow is beyond me.

In the version I read, it was specifically the Eskimos who had many many many names for snow, and considering they have to deal with many different states of it in terms of intensity and condition, it makes perfect sense. They used or avoided different states of snow in daily life, so they had to specify what kind of snow they were talking about.
It's like fred knowing all types gun models while I just call them rifle, machine gun, shotgun and hand-gun.

Indeed as stated above, they have different names for different types of snow because they analyzed their environment deeply through generations in order to survive and thrive. Just like the Himba have different names for green's shades because they live in a relationship with nature where your have to distinguish them, possible in order to know plants you're dealing with, snakes... etc.

In other words, blue is very rare in nature, like we originally said.
Is there even a single fruit or vegetable that is blue? Even blueberries lean on the purple side.

Blue flowers? Blue butterflies? Blue birds? Blue fish?
Anyway, with regards to berries, apart from blueberries - which are in fact rather blue - there are also some other berries like these, not sure what their name is in english (you don't eat them either). https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2014/02/27/16/08/berries-275935_960_720.jpg But not bright blue as we see with flowers and animals.

Which is all small compared to any other color. Purple is pretty rare too but there are a lot of purple things to eat: grapes, eggplant, corn, potatoes, various berries, carrots, cabbage, etc. Once mollusk ink was discovered purple cloth would have been gradually sold and distributed from Europe to China. I'm not sure if they had a dye for blue?

smurfs weren't discovered until the 1980's. before that, they had to synthetically produce blue coloring using moldy blue cheese chunks. which took forever, of course. those blue chunks don't make up the bulk of the cheese. as you know.

This is actually a good example, we don't call blue-cheese that, we call it moldy cheese. The other day, when there was a thread about it here, at first, I was surprised to learn you call it blue-cheese because if you'd ask me before that, I'd definitely describe mold as green, not blue. But once I learned moldy cheese was also called blue cheese in English, I was like "well, it can be seen as blue or green I guess, it's that tone in between."

dude, there's a reason why safewords are used. and a reason why panty/ball gags(or choking, for that matter) don't always work out. you have to be able to SAY the safeword.

Well USA used to employ blue butterflies for the ink of their dollars if I'm not mistaken, in early 1900s.
And even if blue "exists" today in nature, as I said it's still pretty rare compared to the rest of the colors, it was even rarer then than now. A fascinating color that is.
