New fun 1v1 template

I've been working for some time on 1v1 focused template and I feel like it's really fun and pretty balanced. So far I've been playing it with friends but I'd love if any of you would try it out and give me some feedback. So here it goes:

It's best for L-size and 2 players (however it's possible to play with up to 4 players and size of XL) and I will write features of this particular setup:
- Template consists of separate "routes" to the center zone,
- This route is made of 5 different zones (including starting one) and of course there is a guard between them
- Strength of guards is slightly increasing with the game progress
- Terrains of the zones are always the same :
   1) Grass(starting zone)= no cons, lots of gold/crypts/gold mine
   2) Rough= dwells (even behemoth crag)/cons
   3) Swamp= gold mine, dwells (wyverns is highest)/cons
   4) Snow= gold mine, dwells (even giants)/cons/pandora box
   5) Inferno= gold mine, dwells (even devils)/cons/pandora box
- Center zone is where one can find hives/utopias/valuable box
- Center zone is always dirt terrain and the middle town is always Dungeon

Here is scheme of template:

Why all those set terrains? For every town to has something special and to balance things out (I hope you tell me if i succeeded on this).

So far I can tell that this template is quick one (it lasts around 122-124 for us) and rewarding for unusual strategies (for example misticism isn't the worst choice since you got well only in starting zone, or taking scouting on main hero). I think it really shines when played with our own rule : whoever conquers the middle town and holds it for 2 days - wins. Because you're stuck with 1 tavern (dens are rarely seen) you'd never know if you need that one another dwell or work harder on stats for final battle, while your opponent, despite being much weaker, is already near the map center.

You can download it from my google drive. I call it Rolling Stone, because rolling stone gathers no moss and sure you need to keep rolling on this map to win

I downloaded it, checked and it works as you said. To be honest, I dont see this map being played in tournaments or anywhere. Maybe this is less Luck-based but I think a lot easier, one-sided. There are no hard fights in the starting zones, imo, too many zones where f.ex. nr 2 and 3 is almost the same.
It could be something nice to play like 2-3 times, but I think it will get boring. After some games there will be "meta", probably Castle with lots of Marksmens will be able to break very fast.
Anyway, good that still someone is making something new for H3.

Glad you gave it a try. You're right that (when you won't get any dwellings) zones 2 and 3 are pretty much the same. But those dwelling s are the reason for two seperate zones to exist. Maybe you're also right with "meta", but any game played professionally has meta, like, tell me that cons/hives/ lvl 7 rush are not meta in heroes 3? Or playing barbarians/beastmasters/overlords? You encounter almost same heroes as main almost every match. Huh - that's boring for me However lots of marksmen or elves won't give certain victory on this map against human opponent. Shooters for guards or fast fliers and you soon will struggle with no mana. As always - at some point you need to sacrifice them for something better. Anyway thanks for remarks - I'll keep them in mind and try to improve my template!
