Month of darkness
These are dark days in my country. First this military service, and now the plagiarism.
As said, it has been shown that the minister of education has plagiarised a source. The government has dismissed that, claiming it was "just a footnote", even if the minister has much more shadiness behind him.
Yesterday, a scientist that has fought to get the minister fired for this plagiarism, has announced he would leave my country. A lot of media have described him as a good scientist that even worked at the university.
One may say this isn't a big problem, even if a lot of educated people leave the country. But mind that the government, nor the minister, said nothing how "plagiarism is bad", they just had the minister stay on his position. And while I believe the scientist has more reasons to leave the country (because he was offered a position in France or something), the message of the government is like "we don't need any educated people that meddle in our business".
But this isn't even the greatest problem. Even if he were to stay, and the minister would be fired, it still changes little how the government thinks and acts. The saddest thing is that some actually judge the scientist for leaving, and are still ignorant of the minister's offence.

I doubt the scientist's leave will change much but the action is symbolic.

I predict, that the mass psychosis preached hourly by our mass media will reach it's peak in 2020, when the EU funds dry up.

I haven't been counting ours but it's pretty bad. And quite honestly, our politicians could use some impaling sticks up theirs. Everything is so rotten that it reeks.

Alright then I give you centuries of darkness, I began counting since the fall of the Almohade dynasty, the last time the Maghreb was united and since we're still degenerating.

Lithuanian government needs to be hanged for high treason. and that's just one of the crimes I'd charge them with.
But still better than Greece ATM. Which is saying not much. Protests have been swiftly turned into a "pro-russian" circus by the controlled opposition, though, so that's out of the question.
