Definitely not a stupid game cartoon character from the early 1990's.

Mine was from the 1970's.

Grendizer(Goldorak) the mighty titanesque robot from a literally razed planet by their vicious enemies from Vega.

Did you know that He-Man and the Masters of the Universe also originate from the U.S. and within the same period of time(1970's).

It is no surprise that the Japanese animation evolved into The Transformers with Optimus Prime resembling a lot Grendizer(Goldorak).

Here is an entire french episode of Grendizer.

He-Man's curated episode from the 70's for the 80's viewers.

Batman, i thought it was awesome how someone with no super powers could hold his own in the company of super heroes. The dark side of his character also appealed to me.
