Hello everybody.
I would like to suggest “The Last Crusade”, a detailed, well-built, XL Shadow of Death Heroes 3 map made by Hazar.
Never have I found a map with four difficulty options incorporated into it before! Plus you have to try really hard to find your way forward searching for artifacts, paths, etc.
If you like challenging and demanding maps give it a try!
P.S. I haven't been able to finish it. I am stuck once more!
You can find the map here.
Good luck!

Was it played onto the ancient version/edition of original expansion of S.o.D.?
Or...Was it played through a mod. like W.o.G. or Era/Era II or, even through VCMI?
Never thought that someone would even dare to play those ancient campaigns via the Shadow of Death's expansion Edition dating back the so-called last version of 3.0/3.2(patched). Maybe you forgot to patch S.o.D. So, that way, previously unforseen bugs might have been addressed and fixed ever since the year 2000(17 years ago).
You have been warned about the fuzzy functionalities of such ancient campaigns. Good Luck then.

I am not sure I follow.
"The Last Crusade" is a custom made map. The map maker is Hazar. The latest version was uploaded on 3/10/2017.
I play using Baratorch's HD+ mod and RoseKavalier's SoD_SP plugin.
I haven't come across any bugs or errors. The map can be finished. I just haven't figured out yet what I am supposed to do next.

You're not the only one, bro. None of us is able to follow Luc in his fantasy land. Weed is bad.

I gave a try to this map and got screwed on first day, something going wrong. When opening the map with sod editor, first pandora box shows this:
When opening with Era/wog editor it shows this:
So as I play with Era/sod mod I got this magic wand and no idea what diplomat suit means. Is this map internally hacked?

So map is hacked then. Too bad, I wanted to give a shot but I'm not ready to leave my interface wog mods. And obviously that artifact has some purpose.

Out of curiosity, which interfaces are you missing out on the most in SoD?
~~~
It's 100% certain the map was done with WoG mapeditor but still meant for SoD. The Diplomat's Suit and Ironfist of the Ogre "combinations artifacts" exist in SoD but you can't get them normally (and they do nothing) - so I guess the author just figured out what IDs to use from WoG that would be correctly interpreted in SoD. Probably used for quests.
Well I use a lot "Find me" as it is so easy to decipher lost things on XXL maps, then "display events", "display seer huts", "map advanced infos". I hate saving before moving or checking what border asks atc. But the most important still remains the ability to code if whatever goes wrong, some object the mapmaker forgot, some uncalled bug, I don't have to beg the author for a solution, I just fix it myself on the fly.
and the author says:
WoG editor - yep
map for SoD - yep, for Sod only(!)
are there any errors? - nope, absolutely
is it possible to use cheats or mentioned "fixes"? - it's up to you, but... well, you understand what I mean
good luck!
Those are no cheats but interface features, and they work with 99,99999% of the SoD maps out, except yours only. They don't change the game play at all but they prevent excessive reloading, as having to see what the 10 seer huts on first day are proposing without going and reloading, if you see what I mean.
I'm talking about this thing:
>some object the mapmaker forgot
How do we know that it's a mistake or feature?
It's really recklessly to make such a decision. IMHO
But anyway. I have no any objections.
You are right. The Diplomat's Suit and the Ironfist of the Ogre do nothing when equipped (at least I haven't noticed any difference).
The Ironfist is needed to open a quest guard. I suppose that the same applies to the Diplomat's Suit.
