Easy if you have a harem. I am fond of the Ottoman way of oing things, sire a few hundred children and one of them with his own strenght will claw his way to the top and massacre all his siblings, then repeat . Or that is to say the heir that won favor with the Janis.

@Forf: Dad was an only child, so I have had plenty of opportunities to observe how it affected him.
@Corr: Of course children are expensive. I was looking at it from the child's perspective. Siring more children than one can afford is irresponsible, but circumstances permitting, I consider 4 children to be ideal.

You were missing out on lets say getting drunk with your brother secretly on christmas night. Or cutting the hair of your sisters barbie dolls. 
But yeah being the only child has a lot of merits too, you get to be the favorite by default, lol.

Well I don't drink, and the ugly acts I did as a child aren't something I'm looking back at with anything, but resentment.
