From personal experience, the best way to get rid of an addiction is to prohibiting you from being able to get it. For example, for my smoking addiction which lasted for 15 years and was serious, I simply transferred all my bank accounts to someone then during several months was given just the minimum for food, no other spending at all. It works fantastic.

Smoking is a special addiction because it CREATES a shwllow hole that you can situationally fill (by smoking) which is addictive in itself. It's like creating an itch and enjoying the scratch.
Generally, an addiction is only a problem, when it has negative side effects. If it doesn't, it's no problem, and there are countless examples for these. So an addiction must have negative side effects, otherwise - who cares? Which means - the first step is realizing that you OBSESSIVELY do something that has negative side effects. Say - you have an eating disorder and weigh 180 kg. You look crappy, you don't get a date, your clothes don*t fit and you're always hungry.
The seond step is - you need help! You obviously have a problem, and that problem, well, at least it has to be identified. Best, if it would be solved, but that might be quite difficult.
But the first step is ALWAYS: admit you have a problem.
Except when you are smoking. When you are smoking you don't have a problem. You just like the feeling that comes from having a slight problem and solve it momentarily. It's control of well-feeling. Now I'm feeling a slight discomfort of slight withdrawal. NOW I feel the satisfaction aof curing it - and you are in control, that's the beauty.

It's not all in chemistry, something is in biology too. I was a cigarette and tobacco smoker for 20 years and I couldn’t stop. All the time I smoked, I also used vitamin supplementation to lessen the effects of nicotine addiction. After some time I just stop hoping that I’ll ever be able to stop. I was smoking pack, pack and a half, to two pack per day.
It feels weird to actually share this experience because it sounds like a commercial so I will not write the product’s name but I’ll describe what the product has in itself.
Talk to your doctor I suppose.
Of all the supplements I’ve tried only one of them actually made me free of nicotine addiction. The one that had IgG Immunoglobulins (gamma globulins immunoglobulins) in itself.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gamma_globulin
I was taking 1 gram of IgG Immunoglobulins (gamma globulins immunoglobulins) per day for about a month. I didn’t really aim for ending my nicotine addiction, just raising the personal health standards, but that’s what happened. Puff, just totally effing gone.
That was two years ago, I didn’t had to repeat the therapy or anything.

Oh yes of course I tried it, kinda cool being able to say "Hello, I want to purchase some marijuana pls" in legal shop. However, it's placebo, THC is less than 1%, there is some other substance called CBO that they have at around 20%, makes you chill out a bit, a bit like drinking tea.

Marijuana and tea are basically identical. When I can't get my hands on a fat joint I just brew up some breakfast blend with orange peel and a touch of cinnamon.

Salamandre said: Stopped smoking tobacco 6 years ago (after 15 years of not stop)then had to try again a few weeks ago because some doctors told me hashish may have good effects on sleep. After 4 days of smoking once every evening, I started to feel the need of the drug now and then, after 1 week I wanted it every morning after wake up, then every 2-3 hours, then continuously after 2 weeks. The worst aspects of drugs are not in the effects, but in the dependence, which then creates the effects.
Melatonine. <3
(seriously - it's awesome, 100% natural, no side effects and finally got to sleep like a normal person after almost a quarter of a decade with ADHD.
OT: I'm more of an alcohol person. I've seen how people go crazy thanks to weed and it ain't pretty. Okay with legalisation for medical use (we already use variants of opium and amphetamine after all...), but in other cases it just becomes a quite horrible exploitation of poor and vulnerable people. Lefties should under stand that better than anyone else lol..

Well I'm definitely a "leftie" I suppose, and not just with my hand The best politics is usually done with tools of precision instead of blunt objects. And there needs to be good data and science involved, not hippy sentimentality driving decisions.
So... Drugs do pull down the lower class, but not always just the lower class. The most recent heroine crisis in the States is heavily affecting white middle class.
There is such a thing as decriminalizing drugs while still going after big distributors, combined with a good clinic program to take the social stigma of addiction away. Portugal has been very successful with this for the past 16 years, excluding the retards in Lisbon that frequent the tourist areas offering drugs. Portugal has gradually sunk to the one of the lowest usages of drugs after so many people were saying all hell would break loose.
Imo the model should be adopted. Enough time has passed to see it is working.

Is not about quantities, but about the mixtures in your pics. That would instantly kill any french, they have delicate tastes.

One bite of the pulled pork sandwich and you will be assimilated. If you want a more "fresh" taste it also works to pile the cabbage slaw on top of the meat. Goes well together.
