Poll Question:
Favorite Faction?
This may have been done already so I apologize if this is a repeat of a thread we already have, but I was wondering what the most popular faction in H3 is. I don't necessarily mean in terms of competitive viability, it could also be in terms of overall feel. I'm one of the roughly negative 7 people in the world that likes Conflux a lot, but Fortress is a close second for me, personally.

I like Fortress the most, it's often considered an underdog, but it can become very strong.
I also like Stronghold and Inferno a lot.

Conflux whatever it is strong or not...(however hate this version where Firebird has 150HP and Phoenix just 100HP)
I like Tower and Rampart too..

Phoenix just 100 hp, what version is this?
Phoenixes are nicely balanced in HotA, with 3 per week, at a reasonable cost imo.

Voted Inferno.
I know it is pretty weak faction but I enjoy playing with Inferno. I do not pick Castle,Stronghold and Rampart because they have no unit which has "no enemy retaliation" ability. I really like to play with this kind of units. I do not pick Tower, because I like hand to hand combats more than archery. Snow is eye tiring and hating movement penalty. I rarely pick Necropolis because they lack of Morale. Dungeon creatures don't have good damage potential and very hard to get Black Dragons.

I'm disagree. Why? Conflux can't use a resurrection, and it replace a phoenix. And phoenix is stronger than Ghost Dragon. Because of skeleton. Ok they imiate WoG. For phoenix to me it's easy. An idiot! But I can play, I got used to WoG. JVC taugh conflux, example of Gen Kendal got a bad skill, and he went to Conflux, etc Conflux isn't evil to use a armaggedon, when Xeron used Armaggedon's Blade. And then in the future told that the strongest Black Dragon will survive an war. Black Dragon becomes 400HP, and the growth rate is 1 per week in H4. Quite the same affair to me. H4 mod team didn't put to two units. A good story!

I'm one that likes Castle the most. Fortress, Tower and Stronghold would share a second place – in my heart.

I'm a -7 player with a soft spot for Tower always. I love to use the titans and arch magis along with the fun to use master genies. The well rounded nagas and fast gargoyles are pluses too.
After Tower I would have to say Dungeon then Rampart.
Wizard was also my favorite class in Heroes 2 followed by warlock. Probably why Tower and Dungeon are naturally my two favorites in Heroes 3.

Tower is my favorite, although I absolutely love all castles, including the Conflux and the new amazing Cove faction.
I wonder why Tower is my favorite... One reason is that I am naturally attracted to archery/defensive play, in which it excels (although I've been trying to expand to other styles of play for which, focusing on the very offensive Stronghold and Fortress). But I think another is that I brought the Heroes 3 demo CD to school to play with my Heroes 2 loving friends, we encountered a naga (I think we played as Castle, as it was the only faction available to play), and I remember thinking this whole game is the most beautiful and amazing and magical game I have ever seen, and that the naga specifically was the coolest most awesome creature I've seen. 
And I also always thought Solmyr's portrait (and obviously, his ability) is super cool.

Damn! Hard choice between Conflux, Rampart and Fortress
I chose Rampart, though, since this has been the first town I have ever played in Heroes and I've got an emotional connection to it
I still like Tower and Inferno, though, and Stronghold, too. The only towns I don't like are the pussy ones (Castle and Necro), and for some reason that I can't explain - although the town is cool in itself - I also don't like Dungeon. But except for these 3 all others are cool in my book, with Rampart and Fortress winning the top spot, and Conflux coming only slightly behind

1. Inferno - Devils rules
2. Cove - pretty Stronghold and Fortress mix of offensive power and toughness
3. Fortress - Tazar and his super armorer. Good defense, nice castle specials, deadly Mighty Gordon
4. Stronghold - Bears and their 80% defense ignoring, damage over armor, very good heroes pool(Hack, Gundula, Dessa, Gird - if she has access to high level magic)
