Heroes 4
I have a few questions regarding H4, namely:
1) How can heroes trade their artifact? Theres no button nor anything and when 2 heroes 'match together', there is only 1 screen for a hero..so I hav totally no idea how to trade their arts.
2) How do u utilise the potions?
3)Can some1 xplain to me the movement system? Ok, say army A moves to army B. It wants to join it..but by the time it reaches army B A has half of its movement gone. When they join up how much movement does this new army hav?
4)The manual says that the armies can carry arts. too..so how do they pass the arts to the heroes?
Thx if any1 can answer these

>> This one screen contains tho whole army under it just drag and drop stuf onto the other char.(drag and drop to the right side of the screen fails btw)
2) How do u utilise the potions?
>> Via the spellbook

>> The lowest movement availeble (makes sense in some kinda way) one guy in your party already walked half a day so the new army cant walk for a full day anymore)

>> arts ?

Aha..the potions..are they used 1ce and for all?
Also..your army alone without heroes can pick up artifacts right? if so where do u see/view them(the artifacts) And pass them on? Also through the 'screen' when 2 armies match?

Yep. You can highlight each creature stack on the two rows of the two armies to see if they carry any items.
You can also double-click on hero portrait in the adventure screen to access this screen.
Play well

Ok, lets say you have an army consisting of 3 different creatures. 1 has speed 2, the other 5 and the last, 8. On a new day all the army can move is '2' army's movement right? If I take out the 8 now will this thing move '8' or '2'? If its '2', then wont it be better to split up ALL of your army at the end of the turn right?
(Tiz can b applied only if theres no timer though)

Lets say you mix up 2 heroes.... 3 different kinds of creatures...
you move hero (incl. army) as long as possible at end of turn you enter your hero screen and there you will find that ,,, for example.. your 2 heroes still have 8 tiles left... the mastergenie can also move 8 tiles and dwarves and haflings might have to go to bed
you see let your army decide the path... go the shortest way from fight to fight and let heroes and scouts grab loose stuff.

Combining and splitting the army also cost movementpoints
i found this out when i was trying this logistics tactics from H3 (its called chaining i think)
anyway when my 2 army's met i tried to move creatures from 1 army to the other but one stack was not moveble due to low movementpoints

I didnt think they would actualy calculate
Movement cost for draging and dropping a creature
in that overview screen when your 2 army's meet.
I still have to test this but what if you keep changing the army (those buttons on the left 1 army downwards 2 army upwards)
Can you actualy loose all movementpoints that way ?
kinda lame i think

Hmm no ... but when 2 groups of army meet... 1 of them must move the 1 tile/move to become "member" of the other group.

Getting it now but wondering..
From what it seems its that its 'toeach creature their own', meaning that they each hav their own movement but when grouped together they hav to obey that of the slowest unit. Ok..so it means getting equatrarian gloves isnt important anymore? after all it increases the movement of the hero only??

Gloves and Boots of Speed are still nice to have and apply to all the creatures in the heroes army, but when he runs out of movement points it's over for him. It just gives everyone in that Heroes army a couple of extra steps. The increase will apply to any joiners at the beginning of the next turn.
**EDITED**
Remember... If your hero is out of movement points and you are a step or 2 away from that resource that you desperately need, check your troops. Some fast troops may still have movement points enough to split off and pick it up!
