Blocking rules for HC advertisements
Figured I'd leave my blocking rules for HC here, someone might find them useful.
If you are using AdBlock Plus or AdBlock Latitude or any other variant of the same thing, these rules should work directly as is. If you are using other forms of blocking, you might have to adapt them accordingly:

If you do not like looking at the huge print text that appears as a response to this, this is how you make that go away:
heroescommunity.com##DIV#he1
Necessary disclaimer:
Val gets money from those advertisements and if you use this form of hard blocking it will stop him from incurring that revenue. Whether you wish to do this or not is up to you but now you have been provided the necessary information to make your own choice.

I'm behind a firewall so some of the ads are blocked once in awhile.
Question. If I randomly click one will HC get a bit of change? What if I clicked the sane one 5 times? Just curious lol

Not only if you click. What they give change for is if you click and actually engage in activity on the site.
Depending on the plan, empty clicks can be worth something but usually not much, we're talking hundreds of empty clicks for one click that does engage with the site. Similarly one click that makes a purchase is worth hundreds of non-purchasing clicks.
Repeat clicks from the same user don't count under normal plans.
If the empty clicks to engaging/purchasing clicks ratio is very high, that can also be viewed negatively so you should not just click everything. If you want to benefit Val you should click things that seem interesting to you.
