Anyone feel like they need to chew on something before?
I chewed through a rubber chew toy for puppies and I feel so much better. Also I started sucking on pocket change for that metallic taste.
It is a weird sensation but when I bite down on rubber it gives my teeth and gums a pleasant sensation; like they needed to be used. It isnt chronic. It just started yesterday and happens on very rare occasions.
I shouldnt have any mineral or vitamin defeciencies but wtf

Lol, thought i was alone on that. It's pleasant to bite/chew on something resilient like a dog's chewtoy. I liked taking one end of a rubber pull-toy that my cousins dog(a bull terrier, i think they're called. The spudz mckenzie dog) would have in her teeth, with me pulling on the other end with mine. I would lift her off the floor while she growled and struggled, lol. Sadly, the toy wasn't strong in the middle; it pulled apart after minimum usage.
I like using my teeth for biting on stuff, it's very satisfying(chewing a medium rare steak alone is one of my favorite things in the world, and not just for the flavor) Probably has something to do with early primal snow, like a baby learning about it's environment. I also like squeezing the living hell out of raw meat. And feeling sand between my toes, of course. I think a lot of people forget the pleasure you can get from your sense of touch, aside from anything sexual in nature. But to be honest, i get a charge out of squeezing and biting in bed, too.

It's more than being tactile. I think it is because my one gum is swollen from getting a piece of food stuck between two molars, and now I feel like sinking my teeth into stuff to relieve the pressure. Gnawing on a huge chunk of corkwood would be perfect.
Im thinking about stabbing the swollen gum with a needle but I havent committed yet. I think that would be very pleasurable.

Lol, how does that apply to this thread? If anything, we never got out of the teething phase.

Any aching muscle or similar benefits from rubbing and massaging. It gives painrelief (like scratching an itch) and stimulates the bloodflow, thereby also getting rid of waste materials piling up in the sore spots.
