Tawni Balfour's last quest

Hi!
I have this problem.
I'm nearly at the end of the level, but i don't know what to do to solve this puzzle.

There are gates, and the keeper says that it has allegiance to the green flag only. So i cannot pass.

Is there a way to cross?
If so...HOW???

Thanks again.

I wonder, how did you manage to get past the first level? 'Cause the preserve town which you need to capture got 24 fairies, and 59 phoenixes!!! I lost...

The gates are there in order for the Ai to do guerilla warfare on your home town while your main hero(es) are elsewhere.

So you cannot pass through the gates. However, you can get to the other side of the gates by entering and passing through the underworld. Tunnels in the underworld connects the places and will eventually take you to the Palace of the Mer-Queen.

This trick is btw. also used in other scenarios in the campaigns, actually the previous one in the Chaos Campaign is one such campaign. One of the blue castle was sealed of so you could't reach it, and there was many gates which only allowed the other players to pass, so that they could attack you but not you them.

The tricky part in this mission is otherwise how to proceed after you've taken this city.

As for the first scenario. I'd advice to try and follow the "scenario" goal as quickly as possible. That is open the Border Guard at Sea and take the Stronghold (Frigiston or something) as quickly as possible. The key Master's Tent was well guarded, but take it as soon as you can do so with affordable losses.

If you wait till late game then you should build up your might towns and take some of those creatures to boost your army. With Breeding Pens they easily outproduce the Preserve town very quickly.

Added:
You need to divide up your forces in two (unless you posses Town gate, in which case you can complete it by going straight for the targets.) Tawni should have GM Seamanship and Pathfinding by this time. (And she should be able to take out the mermaids herself, or with very little help.)

To get to the hideout of the Mer-Queen you build a Boat at the Palace of the Mer-Queen and sail out. You'll soon find a Blue Border Gate in the ocean, which only Tawni may pass through.

To get to the Sea-Monster spawning area, you build a boat in the Shipyard. (To the South of the Palace of the Mer-Queen is a gate which leads to a shipyard. Once you've taken the Palace of the Mer-Queen, you'll be allowed to pass and can build a boat there.)

There is no water access between the areas so you wll have to build boats in both places. Be sure to pass the two Border Guards simultaneously, that will give you five days to complete the two missions.

When you open up the Border Gate which leads to the hideout of the Mer-Queen (and you must use Tawni for this, as the quest gate will open only for her), you should have Cyrca ready to leave for the Seamonster's spawning pit as the quest gate for the Shipyard doesn't require you to be Tawni.

Ok, i should have explained more.
I have taken the Palace of the Mer-Queen (the town)

I have build 2 ships, and i found the mermaids on the right part of the map.
But i cannot find the way to reach the sea monsters on the left side. There are rocks that prevents me...

Any idea?
