Poll Question:
Best castle hero?
This is the final best hero poll of the 9 RoE-SoD towns. (Only Cove heroes to go, in Horn of the Abyss, but that's a poll I will make some other time.)
So let's find out who you think is the strongest Castle hero. You can't vote for Sir Mullich, as I consider him downright broken, but you can vote for Lord Haart if you wish.

Nope, never used him as a starting hero. Sounds like Mullich combined with Expert Tactics and Morale/Luck relics would be massively OP.

I was just about to vote for Tyris but then I remembered that Adela starts with Diplomacy, so I didn't need a second thought.
Adela, on her own, is NOT better than Tyris, but my god! Diplomacy is probably the biggest cheat of a skill in the entire history of HOMM. It beats even necromancy by a long shot, so...
Also, where the other polls?? I LOVE voting, so the more polls about Heroes 3 and 4 (as these are the only ones I'm familiar with), the better xD

I'd say Adele or Lord Haart. Sir Mullich's speciality provides great advantage in small or medium maps but he is not as great as Logistics/Offense/Defense specialist heroes. If Sir Mullich is banned then why aren't Offense/Defense specialist heroes banned? Crag Hack or Tazar are much more better than Mullich.

Sir Mullich as Gelu, Dracon. Castle got speed, and Inferno got devil. In common Sir Mullich is out. No special, speed is also worst, and very slow is worst. The best is medium! You know berserk, etc I can't tell you. You must to learn speed matter. Black Dragon is good, but JVC knew already, and he gave 7 speed to Black Dragon in H4. Sir Mullich is also mouse as Fear spell

It is so obvious that Logistics specialists are the best heroes followed by Offense/Armorer specialists. They should be definitely banned.
Maybe the designers did create Hack and Tazar for to compensate of weaknessess of Stronghold/Fortress? It is possible but I really have no idea why Rampart has Kyree and Mephela? Rampart is already OP town and these OP heroes boost the power of Rampart more. I always ban Rampart in HotA.
Also unit specialist heroes are useless except Galthran. They boost very slighly their unit. Sometimes they provide only +1,+2 attack/defense even after exceeding level 10. Sorcery and Intelligence specialists are definitely better. They were supposed to provide more speed and HP in every 5-10 level.
People have different opinions Inferno heroes because their heroes all bad. Zydar/Ayden at least decent but I prefer Fiona (sometimes Calh) in HotA because she starts with scouting and more dogs.

Best castle hero is Valeska, second is Beatrice (in HotA)

Noboby serious starts with Crag Hack or Tazar in multi either unless for some reason Tyraxor or Dracon/Wystan are out of choice.
Sorcery specialist is totally useless as at 20 level he gives only +15% spell damage which is a joke.
And btw, nobody serious picks Mephala. Its either Kyrre, Ivor or sometimes Jenova/Elleshar.

They are great for both starting with powerstack and giving speed + damage. Anyway, you called them useless and now agree on powerstack, that's a great step towards enlightenment.
