What happened to 3DO?
I was wondering what happened to 3DO and why did it shutdown. Does anyone know any specific details? An explanation of bancrupsy in the interner didn't quite help to satisfy my curiosity.
Why u created the same thread? In 6 pages u find discussion.
What I know that 3D0 owned old computers, 3D0 wanted 3D graphics, but not money to buy a new computer. 3D0 didn't sell WoG to UbiSoft. What I read about Finnish games magazine.

But in the end you could legitimately blame JVC to have sold his conpany NWC to 3DO when nothing justified it (he just became too lazy to want to manage it anymore)...
...this is why I have/had so much respect for Gas Powered Games (Dungeon Siege, Supreme Commander ) at least Chris Taylor wanted to stay independant until the circumstances forced him to sell to Wargaming... and sadly he left 2 years ago and 1 year ago Wargaming decided to close Gas Powered Games (renamed Wargaming Seattled for the occasion back in 2013)
