I don't see your point. The changes you proposed are agreeable only when applied to multiplayer, yet you made it clear on several occasions that you, in fact, were referring to the game as a whole.
"Aren't you tired of using just 10%-15% of the hero pool?"- on what basis are you making this claim? Has there been a study which indicates that such behaviour is common? Or it's based just on your observations? You admittedly play single player exclusively, so how did you come to such a conclusion?
It seems to me that your arguments are solely based on your understanding of the game. And yet you vouch for changes applicable to everyone? Even though they have a different understanding of the game? Even though they enjoy said understanding? Even if it means playing the same map with the same main over and over again?
You can resolve your troubles by simply modding your copy of the game or, better yet, choosing different heroes! No one is forcing you to play with Kyrre or Tazar.

No, no one is forcing me to play Kyrre or Tazar, but they are clearly some of the best heroes and it is my impression people pick them very often as main heroes, am I wrong?
When was the last time you picked an Eagle Eye specialist, First Aid specialist or a hero with Learning as main hero, probably a long time ago. That's because some heroes rock, while others suck, but it seems people are for some reason perfectly fine with this.
So I guess the conclusion is I am strange and you don't want to change the game for the better. That's fine I guess, at least I can do what I want. I think I already found a pretty good solution so...
Actually I did'nt vouch for changes, I just asked for opinions, but I do see a clear imbalance in regards to this.

That's because those skills suck in general. Fixing those skills will fix those Heroes.
The Logistics, Armorer and Offense specialties are problems for those specific Heroes in terms of overall power relative to other Heroes.

I don't see how making excellent heroes worse would suddenly make poor ones decent. Neither can I see any reason to implement this "nerf" outside of multiplayer.

I agree, but then somebody finally go and do something about those terrible skills!
I dont see how Logistics specialists can ever be balanced though, people realise how OP Diplomacy is, but not this...

I dont see how Logistics specialists can ever be balanced though, people realise how OP Diplomacy is, but not this...
changing heroes' experience required to get levels at x2 ratio would halve these skills and make some spell specialists relatively stronger...

The game will not become more interesting, if all heroes are made equally strong. Rather, it will not really matter any more, whicht hero you pick. How boring.

they are different anyway...their skills works better in different situations...we should try to diminish these huge disproportions...

How so?, it's not like Eagle Eye does the same thing as Logistics, so how could they ever be the same? If there were more valuable skills, people could form different strategies instead of ALWAYS going for Wisdom, Offense, Armorer, Logistics, Earth and Air.
If anything is boring it is the current situation!

They did and it already happened over 10 years ago in the form of WoG. Weak skills were buffed and none of the OP stuff was touched...

you can check also Lafe Mods for VCMI...if all submods don't work choose only Heroes and Skills...

No, don't ban them but also never allow the other towns to recruit these heroes because most of them do exist as compensation of the weaknesses of their towns.
What would be point playing Fortress without Tazar or playing Dungeon without Gunnar?
