Wake me up when September ends
Saturday morning, Elvin wakes up at 6:40. The alarm from his work's cold store 4 floors downstairs is ringing, that bodes well. Good thing the window was open.
Elvin goes to check it, the temperature is 8 degrees Celcious instead of 2-3 which is not a big deal but problematic if left for the whole weekend. But who knows, maybe it was defrosting at the time. Elvin goes back to sleep.
At 11+ the temperature is 9 degrees, time to call support. Haha.. Turns out it is about to break down and it takes 2 days and 600 euros to fix. The only option is to move everything to another cold store which has not been used in a while. Naturally, it is filled with non-refrigerated products, cartons and other stuff so they have to be moved out first. Checking up on the company driver yields no results, it is the weekend after all. [...] Two hours later the refrigerated product migration is proceeding smoothly. Three hours later Elvin is beginning to slow. Four hours later Elvin is beginning to crawl. Just..A little..Longer! Finally. The old cold storage is without stuff and Elvin is without a spine.
Elvin grabs a cold beer, puts on relaxing music and heads into the bathroom. Ahhh.. Elvin feels almost reborn! Just kidding, still all kinds of wrecked. Time to enter summer hibernation without delay. Sweet reliefff.. Begins drifting off to sweet sweet sleep..
One eye snaps open.
Crap, I have not updated the RP yet! Guess I'll have to wake up before the weekend ends. Oh the humanity
