Why is Macron so widely disliked?
Somebody tell me the main reasons for why so many people dislike Macron.
Also, what is going to happen next in French politics.

Politics in France have always been short-sighted, which consists into constantly increasing taxes (up to 85% for some as today) while counting on the state-driven media to put people on comatose sleep with fatuous and pompous arguments about the "need of reforms". Then follows disastrous handling of collected funds, as always.
So is not like Macron is the one who worsened it, he just follows the same direction as everyone before and can't see the elephant in the room preparing its charge. Which will hurt.

On top of being arrogant; obscene gifts to oligarchy, high taxes on everyone else and selling the country's heritage I guess are the three standing out. Following social movements which received unthinkable repression for a country like France: yellow vests track record (up to now and ongoing) is 12 deaths, 25 lost an eye, 5 lost a hand, hundreds severely injured and thousands in jail -all civilians. That's cold truth and still today a lot of citizens are not informed or in denial.
What is going to happen next is a bit in the blur, but I think the plan is to setup another Macron vs le Pen for 2022. You will vote but we choose who you will vote for!

Don't get me started.
And the ones who are reasonably competent are unpopular.

I dislike Macron because he's a pompous know-it-all that wants to meddle in our own affairs. Worst part we have a party of traitors that does his bidding.
He once called our conduct disgusting (more correctly vomit-inducing), tell us more, repressor of people, denier of passage and killer of migrants.
These are the politicians that fuel our hatred of other nations, we now like Hungary more, that in a way are hindering us.

True, but you can't succeed today (when it was possible btw), especially in bloodthirsty politics and international trade, by limiting yourself to reasonable and moderate actions.
You have to take risks, otherwise people like Trump or Xi Jinping, for example, eat your cake and also get the money for.

I don't agree.
Leaders of superpowers like Trump or Jinping still have very limited ways of dealing with things. Xi talks a lot of crap about restoring China and creating perfect solidarity and how leaders in democracies aren't serving people (all the while censoring and punishing anybody who says anything nasty about him). Why hasn't China just sent in the troops and shut up the Hong Kong protests? Because China knows the consequences of that will be much worse than continuing to deal with the consequences of the protests. Trump is stuck in the same position in the Middle East. He has all of the toys in the American military at his disposal to attack Iran but Iran bombed a Saudi oil field and he did nothing. Why? Because it would be like America punching itself in the face. Trump knows this and so does Iran. As long as nobody does anything too radical Trump is pretty much paralyzed in terms of realistic options. Iran probably _wanted_ Trump to retaliate but fortunately one of Trump's few redeeming qualities is that he hates the wars from the Bush era and wants to avoid them as much as possible.
So you can get a moderate leader to handle all of this stuff. Populist leaders win because to many people they are fun and exciting, and they like to see what will happen if they're elected. Now, if you get enough Trumpian leaders around the world (and there are a growing number of them: Brazil, Japan, UK, India) that sing a nationalist tune, it's eventually going to create a real war.

As long as it doesn't fall in Italian hands I guess, that accursed corker statalized a major naval company that we were about to buy.
But he doesn't have any problem in buying Italian industries.
Our politicians of course bend over.

If your choices are a russian puppet or whatever macron is, you’re better off with macron still.
It’s a shame we get all these idealist/innovative people into leader positions only for them to realise leading a country isn’t that simple xD

He won the election pretty strong so what made people turn on him so quickly months back? It's hard to believe none of this arrogance came through while he was campaigning for president. It can't just be because people personally dislike him.

Didn't he win at a second turn just because it was him against Le Pen? It wasn't really a strong choice but the usual "we don't want the scary extremist as a president" and he happened to be the one that got a larger share of the other votes.
Btw, I'd prefer a Russian puppet to a French puppet, at least the Russians have the decency to not look down upon us, unlike a certain loser that gets its way through because of its friends.

Look, before each election we assist at the same narrative every day - the fascists are at the gates, do your duty as citizen.
Add to this Le Pen's gobbledygook about the Euro and Frexit then you get how the initially 24% for Macron became 65%. How long this circus will last, maybe one or two more elections, then they will have a surprise.
