The HotA Factory thread
Hi guys
This topic is meant for sharing what (little) we know about Factory so far:
Alignment: Neutral
Terrain: New Wasteland terrain with 25% movement penalty like Rough terrain.
Mage Guild: Level 5 (No Library.)
Spell school affinity: (Air/Earth/Fire/Water) ? (Possibly Fire?, which I hope.)
Resource Silo: ?
War Machine: ? (I assume Ballista or Ammo Cart or perhaps a brand new one.)
Shipyard: ? (Does'nt look like it from the town screen.)
Artifact Merchant: ?
Special buildings: ?
Grail: ? (+5000 gold, +50% creature growth and ?.)
Might hero class: Mercenary
Magic hero class: Artificer (I believe Agar from Heroes 1 & 2 is one of them.)
Level 1 creatures: Halfling/Halfling Bomber.
Level 2 creatures: Seems to be the female mechanics, which are able to repair Factory's level 7 units.
Level 3 creatures: Armadillo/"Triceratops Armadillo".
Level 4 creatures: Perhaps the worms/centipedes.
Level 5 creatures: ?/?
Level 6 creatures: Gunslinger/Bounty Hunter.
Level 7 creatures: Dreadnought/Juggernaut - both comes with a 4-5 hex beam attack.
Speed of slowest upgraded creature: ?
Speed of fastest upgraded creature: ?
Number of upgraded ranged creatures: ?
Number of upgraded flying creatures: ?
If you know any of the above please enlighten us. (That also counts for official HotA members.  )
I can't wait for the new town.

Mechanic will be probably 3 lvl unit
Also wastes will gona heave some movment penalty (25 % )

Yeah and i think Kastor will show up so thats really nice  Also about other units i think will be mechanical units i wonna see on 7 lvl "Mech" and some creatures mixed with biotechnology like in Dungeon cause we see Agar and another warlock. Maybe but how dont know its hard to say cause its not informations at all

2 Logs 1 Tactics? 8 mysticism 6 eagle eye? That would make this a dead class, so hopefully not

That is actually the same as Wizards, Warlocks and Elementalists. Witches are not much better at 3 Logs 1 Tactics.

Which is why nobody wants to pick them - with some exceptions ie. pre-HotA Luna for Firewall abuse.

Nice work Phoenix, I think the Factory deserves it's on Topic as well. Let me go through some of you points:

IMO the Wastelands seems pretty harsh enviroment, so I would rather put my money on 50% movement penalty, just like Sand.

Could be cool Phoenix, if you could find and put all the pictures of the released heroes here. Btw, we don't know anything about the specials the heroes may have, but in the interview Docent calls one of the heroes "Henrietta the Halfing" which could mean that Factory has a lvl 1 creature specialist.

One creature is lacking - the wind serpent like creature we see in the trailer, and which is very likely to be the inhabitant of the Serpenterium, which can also be seen in the trailer. Pretty hard to say which lvl creature it would be thou.
It seems quite possible that the lvl 7 creature is indeed some kind of mechanical thing, like the ultimate creation of the Factory. The Dragoon golem like creature seems the most obvious choice. As the Gunslingers have retalition shoot - before they're hit -, I belive that the Dragon golems will have some kind of first strike ability, just like they have in Homm4.
We also do know that the line up will have 3 humanoids, which are all released, and the rest of the creatures will be beasts and mechs. One thing nobody seems to talk about: the farm we can see in the middle of the town screen is most likely a creature dwelling, which would indicate that the some kind of Ox or horse or that kind of animal is part of the line up - if this is the case, I would see it as a tier 2 creature.

Not sure I feel right about the color of the Wastelands, no other H3 terrain is so oversaturated of color; they look mostly neutral and not so bright.
Also, i liked more the NWC dark concept for the new mechanical town, but well. Can't blame them for trying something different, and it seems they go more for steampunk than cyberpunbk, which at least, suits better.
(but in any case could have done a steampunk dark version anyways...)

Peculiar. You meet him in Might and Magic 6, as a hostile lich, at around the time of the Restoration Wars, over in Enroth. Then again, you also meet Ethric as a hostile lich that has been a lich for quite some time and has stuck around in a tomb for long enough people aren't certain he's still 'alive' in MM6, so that game already has ended up with inconsistencies just from the official Heroes 3 expansions.

I believe there's also a troop hoarding mechanic promised that's supposed to work like necromancy or demon farming.

Than You will lose money becouse Docent long time ago said that on vk forum also Wastes is verry similar to rough basicly

bear in mind Shadow of Death was an unreliable narrative, it was told by Yog who did not have the full perspective lol
I do not think that Jabarkas was the brother of Ethric either or that Sandro went around raping or boning Jabarkas's daughter in the hills of Erathia when he actually was fighting the war in Enroth,
that is clearly a hit piece of Yog and the biased fake news Bracadan media, the enemy of the undead people the fake news cheers lol

I think brand new one, stronger than the cannon by 10 attack points, +1 lowest and highest damage, and 4 shoots more. That's what I found while making funny stuff at the map editor, which is a good basis to make such theory:

An even stronger cannon?, wow that would be really unnecessary. Ballista and Ballista specialists are already obsolete, but that would also make the Cannon and Jeremy obsolete.
I hope your theory is wrong.
