@Orc I did'nt know WoG nerfed Logistics specialists. So they agree they are indeed OP, interesting. Did they do the same with any other heroes?
Not that I would take that route myself, but it just proves yet again they are OP, but apparantly people wanna keep them like that.

They had 2 less primary skills, starting with total of 4.
but I never use that script. I rather have them with lots of primary attributes.
Tazar and Crag are better than logistics imo (except if they are humans maybe but im only AI player so...)

Imbalance makes all sense in Homm III, why would you have Crags and Gunnars picking resources and visiting windmills? Part of the fun is chose the right hero to main and the right one to be in town.
Thats so true and accurate. Even if my main is Orrin, id feel so bad to put crag and tazar collecting or sending troops, keeping them on level one.
would rather have secondary heroes as gold specialists or + resources.
it might be even better to give AI crag so he level a little bit and when AI lose we get crag back with some levels and artifacts.
so again, I couldnt agree more with @BloodSucker

Apparently people find it fun maining the same hero every time, I get that this is perhaps the "most optimal strategy", but I don't see the fun in maining the same heroes over and over again. Which is why I always select random starting hero. Sometimes I get someone awesome, sometimes I get someone awful, but at least it keeps things unpredictable, interesting and perhaps a bit more challenging.
I would like if things were a bit more balanced though.

You can still make the game more balanced by buffing other heroes rather than nerfing Log heroes.

Already did that, but Logistics specialists are still the best heroes in the game.

So you admit it!!! You want to give Serena the same value of Crag. Once again, you don't get that your mesmerising preferences if put into practice would screw everybody else game.
Playing random hero is like flirting after drunk, you can't complain of what you got.

If you play vs weaker opponents its ok to mess around with random hero. Also, no matter how bad is your starting hero, if you manage to get earth magic + logistics + wisdom fast you will do well.

So I admit what?!?!? How is an Eagle Eye specialist ever going to be as good as an Offense specialist? I know HotA is planning to rework EE, but I can't imagine it ever being on par with Offense. Achieving "perfect balance" between skills is simply impossible and I don't wish for that either, but a lot of the terrible skills could at least be taken in a less terrible direction.

Brilliant suggestion; it makes the game even more enjoyable.
imagine nerfing all creatures to 1 speed and no shooting, how boring will game be?

thats only true vs weak very large maps. but on poor maps with strong Wandering creatures, crag and tazar will be able to make most use of their armies better, and so they are better in my eye.
in maps I play, 3 or 4 more tiles are not going to matter that much if your hero actually cant win the fight. even if he could, its still not too bad for a specialty. its just a normal well designed speciallty that has some use, but no where near broken imo.
(come to think of it, in too small maps, where logistic specialists can move instanty from his town to yours it will be a little imba but thats it, in too XL maps they will be great but not imba imo)

eagle eye is very imba in Era II; they counter usefull spells 30%. its like resistance but for freindly spells.
its actually imba; I can never cure my blinded hydra vs eagle specials ARGGGGHHHE ITS ANOYING.

um, you mean 3x-4x more movement than any hero. You ever seen a level 70 logistics specialist crossing half of an XL map in one day?
Also, it's true that even with the artifacts that log specialists usually get before anybody else they still can't win the fight against the tanky Tazar / Mephala / Neela but against any other hero (except for the diplomacy ones, obviously) they win 100%... on XL+U maps I mean, and in one epic final battle in month 12 like the game is meant to play (yes, cause I say so)

Well, I've played some maps where in fact you need more then a year to get to that final battle but they are rare. If you take that much on a regular map or you are deliberately stalling or you don't have enough skill (should watch some more MP matches on YouTube or Twitch).

You're right. I never seen lvl 70. the max I got is prolly 43 or 44.
but tbh, if somone could reach 40+ with logistic hero, maybe he deserve to have additional movements. thats the strategy he played with and it paid off. if he chose tazar he would get no dmg, and if crag he 1 hit insta death stare any stack.
but he choose logistcs.
man, how long would it take to reach lvl 70? I bet those games will be boring without logistic heroes cuz the hero cant move.
Edit: come to think of it, even at lvl 80, logistic heroes will only move x2.5 normal heroes. if tazar had boots and logistics, it will be like, only x2,
I think this feature will be cool; not worth nerfing the hero for a hypothetical scenario that is almost never relevant. especially that in such long games, other heroes will boring to play cuz they move slow. its actually good feature: if you play game that extend for 4 years, pick logistic hero so you can sweap map faster.

I find it boring to watch H3 MP online for some reason. The only single H3 game I watched fully, was some random 1 vs 7 AI game.
Edit: actually even that game I watched like 3/4 hours, so almost fully LOL
