Why Inferno and Conflux are lack of OP heroes?
Any logical reason behind it? I am reffering to offense, armorer, logistic specialists. I didn't add Castle and Necropolis because at least they have estates and necromancy specialists which are prety unique and considerably stronger than other average heroes.
Just why do they lack heroes that has unique/powerful speciality when Rampart and Stronghold three of them?

Conflux has plenty of OP heroes which are unique in their own way rather than copying already existing offense or logistic specialists

Congrats, Pyre now Logistics specialist. Also, he is the only hero with 2 specialties as far as I know.(with another script his baliista base damage is doubled, just like all ballista specialists)

Okay first of all Pyre is a she, not a he!
Second here is how I see it, Conflux is already pretty powerful with Elementalists starting with magic schools, Magic University, Artifact Merchant and Armageddon potential. It did become very expensive in HotA though and you probably need some +350 gold and Estates heroes.
Inferno is not the best town, their heroes are not that great either. I guess what could make up for it is if you have 2 or more Castle Gates. Unfortunately they are completely ruined by Adv. Town Portal.

no idea what Resistor is, nor am I ever going to play any of these mods/whatever that "fix" what doesn't need fix, but... why the hell does anyone need to change alkin's specialty????? This is so stupid

I think he means Resistance and I agree Alkin is not a hero that needs a new specialty. Orc should turn his attention to Melodia, Uland, Inteus and Astral instead...

that wasnt astral problem, the hypnotise spell needs rework. it better be castable on all stacks, and when cast, the hypnotised cast will split, and you will control HP depending on your spell power.
currently, if you cant hypnotise 100HP, you never be able to cast it on 11 pikemen.
how it should be reworked is: you still hypnotise 10 pikemen, and 1 will remain un-hypnotised.
melodia was buffed in badLUck script. if all heroes start with -3 luck, the melodia is buffed. am I wrong?

Yeah Hypnotize sucks, we can agree on that.
-3 Luck is not a normal way to play the game. In original game there is'nt even such a thing as negative luck.
Under normal circumstances her special is always useless and she can't even cast it on dragons.

I kinda like how 3DO went from hypnotize being completely useless (H3) to totally overpowered (H4).
Conflux used to have an OP hero (Luna) and you can still use her decently.
Inferno... got the shaft, I guess. Start with Calh, recruit a better hero immediately.

I thought gogs are pathetic. even lizard warriors do more dmg and have more HP (but still cheap)

in a regular game gogs/magogs are mostly garbage. In HotA, the ability to aim Magog's fireball is extremely good and Magogs become quite powerful.

I pick Calh not because of gogs are awesome because of starting with gog stacks is very good to clear up neutrals plus Calh's secondary skill scouting is improved.
Also gogs/magogs aren't bad as people think. Their biggest advantage is they don't immiadetaly need upgrade like most of other low level shooters and it makes them better than archer and Lizardman.

are you satisfied with just this? or do you think there is a better idea? that another specialty is specifically fits inferno heroes? Maybe ArmaGGedon Specialty or something?
I thought they had to have logistic specialty cuz they have 10% chance to learn it (Barbarians have 10% for offense and BMs have 10% for armor, Rangers have 9% chance for resistance)
so basically most SS specialties happen when that hero class have high chance to learn that SS

why no one mentioned Intelligence and Sorcery specialists for inferno? they are kind of good arent they?

Yeah you have a point here and when you look at it like that Pyre kinda derserves to be a Logistics specialist.
It's also kinda weird how Alchemists have 10 chance of getting Learning, yet no Alchemist starts with Learning. (Yes I know Learning sucks, but it does'nt have to.)

I'd be definitely welcomed to these kind of buffs. Even in HotA I still think Inferno still needs a bit help.
My biggest complain about Inferno is how expensive are Arch Devils and their upgraded dwellings. Absolutely not worth to upgrade them unless Inferno player is extremely rich. There should bea cost reduction of Arch Devil/Forsaken palace.

Sorcery is crap. Intelligence specialists have overkill mana; good for custom (weird) maps, extremely powerful in campaigns, not that great in PvP.
