Hello there and thanks for this amazing mod! Anyway, I read on your first page that Centaur Captain will bee able to shoot when gaining experience... Was this feature removed? I cannot find it :/ Thanks

Update

Third Upgrade version 2.9.5

-CB scripts were updated, now they allow guards to have Stack Experience.
-Added all the missing replacer scripts, now all dwellings can be generated in a custom map.
-Added script "Dens of Thieves are replaced with Hill Forts.erm" for the purpose with the name already mentioned. (Thanks to Archer).
-Rebalaced Ultimate Dragon Utopia. (Creatures replaced, number of guards and rewards reduced, revisitable every 28 days, growth rate 5% per week).
-Now the growth of level 7 creature banks is 1% per week.
-Improved Seraph, now removes alignment penalty for units from good and neutral towns, and cast Prayer at the start of combat.
-Improved Guardian of Zeus, now adds Titan's Lightning Bolt to your spellbook.
-Improved Divine Phoenix, now adds Armageddon to your spellbook and make you immune to it.
-Improved Mermaid, now gives you +500 movement in the sea and protects you from whirlpools.
-Improved Moss Thrall, now lets you walk through the water.
-Coral Reef dwelling now appears in the water by default.

I have found that the Third Upgrade Mod will not work with the latest version of ERA Gaming Build, v1.36.064.  The game crashes as soon as you try to build your third upgrade structure.
This also happens on my opponents computer, and it happens in both multiplayer and single player.

I tried reverting the Third Upgrade Mod to the previous version, but it still crashes at exactly the moment you try to build the third upgrade.
So I reverted the ERA Gaming Build to the previous version, I believe it's v1.36.060, and that fixed the crashing issue, including with the latest Third Upgrade Mod version, v2.9.5

So something in v1.36.064 of ERA Gaming Build does not work with the Third Upgrade Mod.

Just a heads up, thank you for all the fantastic work you do for this game.

The problem is wog native dialogs, to fix that problem in the latest version of Assembly you have to copy wog native dialogs from the previous version of Assembly and replace it to the new one, the path is this: Mods/WoG/EraPlugins

The problem is wog native dialogs, to fix that problem in the latest version of Assembly you have to copy wog native dialogs from the previous version of Assembly and replace it to the new one, the path is this: Mods/WoG/EraPlugins



Ah Ok, I'll give that a shot. I ran the .060 version of the ERA Gaming Build Mod and extracted it into its own temporary folder so I can copy the needed files from that version into the newest version.
I'm not sure if I will need to do a clean install after doing that to reinstall the newest version, but I will do it anyway just to be safe.

Do I just need the 2 files in the "/EraPlugins/Sources/Wog Native Dialogs" folder (a CPP and MAPS file), or do I need everything in the "/EraPlugins" folder, which includes the "/EraPlugins/Sources" folder, the "/EraPlugins/After WoG" folder, and the 13 files in the "/EraPlugins" folder?

Never mind my last post, I found the actual file called "wog native dialogs.era" in the "/EraPlugins" folder, don't know how I missed that.

Replacing the .064 version of the file with the .060 version seems to have fixed the problem.

-Fixed HP of Elder Ogres.
-Balanced the cost of Holy Champion, Paladin and Dragon Golem.
-Reduced the number of rebirths of Divine Phoenix.
-Fixed the portraits of the special buildings to have Third Upgrades in OpenGL.
-Fixed Lightning Birds immunity.
-Removed chain lightning from Guardian of Zeus.
-Now Oak Dryad summon Stump Rider from a dead ally.
-Disabled by default "90 wog - pandora.erm", now it is only optional if you want to use it for Random Maps.
-Map editor objects have been sorted.
-Added a new function to crossbow artifact.
-Changed Tiara of Knowledge, now gives +5 Wisdom and makes you immune to Forgetfulness and Hypnotize.
-Emerald updated, the feature that changed the behavior of the game to obtain experience was removed, this may be a possible solution to the problem of experience overflow, negative experience and 0 experience.
-The replacer scripts have been renumbered, now they start from the number 100.
Important:
-Added new implementation: Additional units, now you can buy an 8th dwelling in which the creatures of Tides of war are obtained! You have to press the "8th units" button in the lower corner where the frames are to select the units in HD mod.
--To obtain the 8th upgraded units, it's required to buy the special building to obtain third upgrades.
(There are two bugs in this new implementation, one in which all the wood is consumed and even gives you -10 of it when buying the 8th dwelling, the second is that the Dungeon, Stronghold, Fortress and Conflux factions have additional upgraded units, it will be fixed in next version).

I had Mod [Amethyst Edition] for ERA installed worked great then my PC got a virus & I had to reformat since then I have not been able to install Mod [Amethyst Edition] for ERA. It opens up and says installing but then nothing. anyone know whats wrong?

cool that somebody is actually using my work.

kinda sucks that i ever included female prisoners in my object patch, though. first, they were never attached to anything(i never made a def for them to even attach to), so the fact they were chained in restrained positions is retarded. second, that they could barely be worked into the game without scripting(which i never did). and third, that it's cringy as all hell regardless. i look back and i don't understand why i ever wanted them in the game, tbh. i guess because they were one of the cooler things(when i initially added them) from "diablo"...

johnnycage, I'm not sure what the problem is, but make sure you've reinstalled ERA Assembly correctly, if that doesn't work, keep in touch with Panda for technical support.

I love your patch, I gave it a good utility for the RMG (although it only works for forest and flower defs and one other terrain object). I look forward to the next version of your patch to better optimize my mod.

Here's what I Did: Installed clean Heroes 3 complete,put ERA 3.7 in heroes 3 folder & Ran,put HoMM3 ERA HD Eng Panda in heroes 3 folder & ran,then took Third Upgrades Mod [v2.10.0] and placed it in Mod Management it opens  &  gives me the option to install or cancel  .I've clicked install it opens up & says please wait installing and just stays that way.Nothing gets installed.

Try manual installation, extract my mod with 7-Zip, then with the extracted folder send it to the mods folder

I noticed when I enabled treasure chests to give more experience based hero's level in the wog options, I never saw a massive experience overflow or absent value. It offered 3k-7k or the standard 500, 1000, and 1500. I didn't notice an experience overflow or absence anywhere else in the game.  I like the idea of artifacts giving experience boosts. It helps to climb those levels and not relying on trees of knowledge.  Perhaps a solution could be an artifact that converts a percentage of damage your armies do in a battle to experience points for the hero and units? Kinda similar to dungeon commander converting damage to gold. Just an idea

For creatures that cast offensive spells on enemy stacks (e.g. spellweaver, lightning bird, astral spirit) is there a way choose attacking instead of casting spells? I have seen in auto combat they can attack but I haven't found a way to do this in manual)


Also most of the 3rd upgrades costs are not reduced by 7th day half price map rule, which make them actually cost more to upgrade on the 7th day because 2nd upgrade are half price but 3rd are full price (I guess this might be a half price script problem and not something this mod can change)

Use switching Actions script (you can change with button 1,2,3).

-Removed 8th slot dwelling due to instability and difficult maintenance. Possibly reintegration in the future.
-Fixed the mental immunity bug of some skeletons.
-Redesigned Centaur General (By FirePaladin).
-Fixed Antichrist sound when teleporting.
-Antichrist now recovers "No enemy retaliation".
-Fixed the stats of Santa Gremlin and other creatures according to the current ERA 3.
-Sacred War Hammer balanced, cast Destroy Undead removed.
-Added new special artifacts with new effects (credit to Kongsuni for scripting).
-Now that error message will no longer appear when you want to play without emerald.
-For testing: Added a script that allows instant victory in battles by pressing the "M" button, thanks to Archer30.

The game crashes whenever I try to enchant seraphim in the emerald tower, I have antichrist on the same hero and they work no problems, I also enchanted red bones dragon earlier and it worked.

I have the latest gaming build with ACM and TUM

Update version 2.11.1

-ID 270-284 were reorganized.
-Returned 8th dwelling, fixed the issue of some creatures appearing upgraded from the Dungeon faction.
-Fixed 8th dwellings bug that consumed all wood and left you with -10.
-Now 8th creatures have normal growth as originally intended.
-Changed the location of the "8th units" button, it is now down for more convenience (don't worry, anyway in HD mod it didn't show the available numerical amount of creatures).
-The prerequisites and costs to build the 8th dwellings have been changed, now it is more flexible and fair.
-Citadel and Castle building now increases creature growth in 8th dwellings.
-Fixed a minor bug fix regarding to staff of doom (crashes in siege).
-Removed "Protection by all units in battle.erm"
-Removed "option 730-single-slot composite artifacts.erm"
-Added functionality to a couple of artifacts. (scripting by Kongsuni)
-A new artifact combo has been added.
-Emerald Tower has been fixed and adapted for TUM. Thanks to Archer30
-Fixed and adapted to TUM "Monstes are half price on 7th day of the week" script. Thanks to Archer.
-Fixed the names of Tides of War creatures when improve in Emerald Tower.
