Upcoming HOMM3 Project
Good Evening,
I would like to announce to the Heroes 3 community that I will soon be releasing a lengthy custom campaign that I have been working on for a while now. Its storyline follows the events of Armageddon's Blade and seeks to stay as true to canon as possible until the events of Heroes Chronicles.
My motivation for this is that I generally found the Reckoning plot unsatisfactory (along with the actual scenarios) and felt that certain heroes from HOMM3 were not used to their full potential, such as Dracon or Adrienne. I also found myself asking the question: what if Gelu was able to choose a "path of good" in which he used the Blade to actually defeat all evil in Antagarich? Finally, what would a campaign look like in which every nation on the continent was engulfed in war? The result is what I hope to bring to you in several parts, the first part soon to be released.
I won't spoil anything yet, but Part I will focus on Deyja, with certain heroes from AvLee being involved before Gelu comes in near the end. Part II, when it gets finished, will tie in more of the other nations, as well as heroes like Kilgor and Mutare. Part III will see a reimagined struggle between Dracon and Mutare (as I think we would have expected, but never actually got). Part IV will see the return of Sandro and the redemption of Gelu. Of course, there's a lot more in between, but those are the highlight events.
For those who enjoy the lore, as well as historical inspirations from the Roman Empire or World War II, I hope you will enjoy what is to come. Additionally, if you found Heroes Chronicles and the Reckoning to be somewhat lackluster, I've tried to come up with a storyline that is much more involved and offers a more rewarding continuation of the heroes from Armageddon's Blade. In all of this, I've tried to stay true to the canon of the game while envisioning a different type of plot in which Enroth is not destroyed.
I would like to know where I should upload this campaign in order to get the most players involved and also welcome comments. Looking forward to discussing it with all of you.

Wow, I think this will be so awesome. I find it very nice that people still love the game and keep it alive.
Myself I haven't even completed all the campaigns yet. I just love to play single maps with friends. I need to finish them and maybe buy chronicles after that. Then jump into all the extra content you guys produce!

Solo Inferno Campaign would be neat. I am aware that ROE and AB, plus MM6 and MM7 made them only as Antagonists, while i would rather saw them as protagonists. In AB campaign, i enjoyed playing as Xeron. SOD already made Necropolis shine with Sandro and his overpowered sets.

I’m strongly considering an Inferno sub-plot; the hard part is trying to devise a story that brings the Kreegans back into play in a way that’s compatible with post-AB. As far as I know, Catherine hints at the end of the campaign that some of them may have survived, so I’m sure there’s something that can be done.
After the undead-heavy Part I, more kingdoms will come into play, taking the emphasis off Deyja.

I was wondering what could have been so informative; then I thought I was being insulted. This makes more sense. 😆

If like a Comic Book plot, this would surely "lead to a Dictatorship of good" that becomes worse than evil itself

An understandable concern, but not to worry...this is taken care of in time, provided one pays attention to the plot.
