Myanmar coup - military seizes control
Myanmar's military has seized power after detaining Aung San Suu Kyi and other democratically elected leaders.
Aung San Suu Kyi detained as military seizes control
The military-backed opposition immediately began making accusations of fraud after the vote. The allegation was repeated in a signed statement released by the newly-instated acting president to justify the imposition of the year-long state of emergency. But there has been little evidence to support the allegation. This feels eerily too close at home.
This is just terrible news for the people of Myanmar.

As a general rule, in "The Beginner's Guide on How to Successfully Perform a Coup", it helps when you have tanks and jets and vehicular machine guns and ships and missiles and rows of troops in polished black boots marching to your orders.
An overweight guy wearing his employee ID around his neck and a shaman wearing a fuzzy outfit with Braveheart blue paint on his face is slightly less effective. I'm not being overly critical of their attempt to create a Neoconfederate Sith Empire. I'm just saying that there is plenty of room for improvement.
edit: What angers me about these people is that they don't tap into their greatest strength, which is having cool-sounding bad guy theme songs to accompany them. Consider the First Order March:

Why not stevenpedoverse "villain" music bits?
When you think that you people cannot steep lower.
Although I agree that the capitol "riot" was superbly assinine in it's execution.

Besides, best piece of Star Wars music is Order 66 theme. Droid March comes second, Imperial March third.

Which is exactly why they need some proper villain music in order to inspire them (the First Order March is excellent). Right now they lack classiness and style and it is costing them. Put on some good music and don some black or gray outfits - maybe with some silver or red lining - and you've got something to work with.
Myanmar does a decent job but they seriously need to fix their flag because right now it is way too colorful and fruity.

Speaking of stupid songs, I have the perfect one, since your peoplekind think boogtards are nazis.
You should relay your idea of marching to remake star wars music to the remaining booger militias who aren't currently in federal custody getting their junies spread by a big burly black gentleman with a nickname like "Delicious" or "Peaches". It'll be right up their alley, along with other tactical brilliance such as "who needs guerilla warfare knowledge when I have my AR-15 from K-mart", and "75k armed boogers can take and hold Washington D.C."
And yeah I know I said some positive things about the "sequels", but iirc that was only on the design of bargain bin Darth Caedus's lightsaber.

You have simply proved my point, which was an excellent point from the beginning. The Axis lost and it's because they used terrible music. Marching around singing about bees and sweethearts? Seriously? How much lead do you have to put in your drinking water to decide that was a good idea?
