Which top movies would you consider must-see classics?
It can be any genre or language or time period you want. Try to whittle it down to a small list.

Merida is called "Brave" here, if that's what you're talking about.
Animated movies are great but that one didn't do much for me. Onward was kind of so-so as well and Frozen 2 was somewhere in the "This movie kind of sucks" category. The most recent one that I absolutely loved was Inside Out.

Lajanje na zvezde; Eng: Barking at the Stars.
Quintessential light-hearted Serbian teen comedy. My favorite movie, perhaps of all time. Watched it over a dozen times and I still find it funny. The humor is not the kind you'd find in teen comedies of that period (late 90-ies and early 00's are famous for the crass sex comedy movies like the American Pie). Most of the movie relies on aphorisms and engages the watchers intellectually while not comming off as pretentious and snobish in any way. The cast is perfect and the characters themselves are all relatable in some way. It trully makes you feel like you're part of their class with how the situations they find them selves are presented and how they live out the last two weeks of senior year.
While it might have some flaws with pacing (it feels a bit rushed in the latter half, due to time constraints I'd assume), I find it only makes you want to watch it again to try and get the most you can out of it.
In general, I'd say it is a certified hood classic.

Amadeus was a great movie but what immediately pops in my mind is the completely stupid and completely awesome and addictive song by Falco.

Blade Runner is one of the those movies I feel weird for not liking because it's so popular and it's exactly the style of movie that I would love, combined with Harrison Ford who is one of my favorite actors, but I'm bored most of the time watching it. I love the ending scene but that is about it.

Well, it was a metaphor, to say every time I watch them I catch fresh details which I enjoy and keep me glued. There are dozens of other movies which I consider great, however I don't feel the need to watch again so soon.

There are a lot of popular movies I don't like and/or find boring as well. For example, From Dusk Till Dawn was listed which I find pretty boring. I was never a big fan of Casablanca and I found Alien II appaling. It's taste.
Blade Runner is noteworthy as an atmospheric movie, imo.

No offense, Angelito, but for the most part that's a very bizarre list of must-see or 'best of genre' movies.

The main one that threw me off was the Ice Age series. Like wtf. That's like having "Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3: Viva La Fiesta!" on the list, but whatever. Maybe he's just really, really psyched up about woolly mammoths and squirrels or something.
Anyway, back on topic. If anybody else would like to share their list so that I can publicly ridicule it, feel free. This is a respectful and non-judgmental thread, most of the time.

Nobody knows the movie itself, but its soundtrack has been ripped off in so many cheap production Turkish comedy movies of the 1970’s, if you pick a random Turk old enough and play this to them, they’ll start humming it by intuition:
Vladimir Cosma
I dont feel like making a list right now but Cinema Paradiso, The Godfather, Once Upon a Time In America, 12 Angry Men, From Here to Eternity, Kansas City (the music mostly), The Player, Amadeus, North by Northwest will all be certainly in it.

The music in that movie is pure Romanian folklore.
A pity that the few French movies and actors (Louis de Funès, Pierre Richard) that can compete with Hollywood blockbusters depend so much on the unique elocution such people had, which is untranslatable.

"..has fallen" series as must see action movies? C'mon. I mean, ok, they're fine as popcorn munchers go but I don't think I'd put them on my top 50 action movies, let alone top 5.

Cast Away
Citizen Kane
Ben Hur
Empire Strikes Back
The Passion of Joan of Arc
It’s a Wonderful Life
Batman (1989)
Alien
