Expanded artifact bag
Small mod that expand the bag size 4 times.
You can switch the bag by right-clicking bag button. (Maybe HD mod required)
Equipped artifacts are never changed.

Hi Kongsuni, what about scrolls cuz those are occuping all 4 bags. Is it not fixable bug of bags?
And you don't always have oportunity to sell them.
Anyway nice mod, I was using similar one for Wog 3.58f.Thx.

Sigh! That's too bad. When I ran across this, I thought it was perfect. Equipment does tend to pile up, especially on large maps. Maybe I'll try it at some point just to see if there's a way to get it to work.

oh yeah the idea is absolutely fantastic. i'm always missing key pieces cos of no space. and i've never gotten the artefacts can be "dropped" thing to work, either (the era script); like, "drop to the hex next to the hero," meaning what exactly? if the portrait while bag is opened, that doesn't work lol.

Interestingly, I've never gotten the drop artifacts routine to work, either. I thought that was just me.
I play random maps a lot, so what I've taken to doing is tweaking a little in map editor to make sure there is an altar of sacrifice around as a way to get rid of the excess artifacts. Those altars don't seem to change into anything else during wogification. Of course, one can also use an artificer or a junk shop to get rid of unwanted artifacts if you're lucky enough to get one in a decent place on the map. In the old days, I used to hire heroes just to dump the junk and them and then dismiss them.
One of the nice features of HOTA is the built-in altar of sacrifice in Cove towns.

interesting, yeah, good to know i'm not the only one!
i also play random maps, but you can't edit already automatically generated random map, right? i've done similar additions, but have just generated/edited the map in the map editor.
as for the altar, it's a nice idea, thanks, but really only applicable when there are loads of altars (or junk shops or whatnot) all over, not just somewhere or maybe a few here and there. cos if it's the latter, you might max out when far away from these, with travel back not really quick option. idk what the resolution could be though. easiest would be to have the script to work, but alas.

Actually, you can edit an already generated map. Open the map editor, go to the random maps folder, and open whichever one you want to edit. Depending on the mods you're using, there are occasionally glitches with the map editor being able to open a map created by the in-game generator, but normally that works just fine.
Of course, you can also create random maps in the map editor (though again, some mod combinations cause the editor to crash when trying to create a random map. (I don't know how it is now, but there was a time when HOTA was that way as well. Map editor could edit maps from the in-game generator but not create its own.)
Assuming both work on your system, the only advantage to generating the random map using the in-game generator is that you can pick what faction you want to play. The map editor's random map routine doesn't let you influence what faction each player is assigned. You can tweak that, but it was surprisingly time-consuming the last time I tried it (and the faction I changed didn't behave correctly when I started a game with the map). So if I want to play a rampart, or whatever, I random generate in game first, exit, and then edit in map editor.

@Undeadgamer62: wow, learning something new every day! for some reason i only thought of trying to edit files in the 'games' folder, never even tried the actual map format files in 'random'. thanks, will give it a try at some point!
@anti-victor: sorry, i'm not entirely sure what you mean. which option? doing what?
