Hi Guys! Plz HELP my new hero mod!!
 New comers here, Im trying to make a hero mod but there is no luck.
I want to make a new hero that based on Duncan, with new name and skills even moved to Academy so I can have the twins separated in different towns bcz I dont want to replace the old one,but some how the game just cant find my new hero, its being buging me for long time now plz help!!!
Is there something Im being missing? plz help me in a bit more detail if u can since Im not that skilled in H5 Modding
If u dont know the answer, plz help me find anyone who might know the answer that would be deeply appreciated 
I know that the game have a set unit cap for what u can put in, but if Im using Duncan's model and AnimSet for the new hero I should nt have any problem right?
btw can I just typy bio in just like <BiographyFileRef href="Duncan twin"/> and work?

Hello, I think there is an old post that talked about this. I found it when I was working on making unique models for all the playable heroes in the game. Here it is, it's very detailed and should be easy to follow. Best of luck!

Thx! but when I launched the game it says
hero "my hero" has no selection
Is there something wrong? I did the guide steps to the letter is there some other rule I need to know????

It's hard to say what is wrong without knowing how and what exactly have you done. If it's very hard for you, you should ask other people to make it for you. Maybe someone would do it.

well, as a modder myself I really want to do it myself
I tried replaced with exist hero and succeeded , so the hero modding part must be right
Then I changed the any & academy.xdb to give the address line for the new hero and now I cant lanuch the game, did I miss anything?

1.How did you name you new hero's file?
2.What folder did you put that file in?
3.What exacly do you write in any.xdb and academy.xdb?

1. X.(AdvMapHeroShared).xdb
2. the same with the other academy heros in MapObjects/Academy and packed up .h5u, the mod worked when I replace the new hero text with the old one but not as a new hero which is strange

to be clear I changed Maahir to be a new hero set saved in Maahir.xdb and it worked but when I try to make a text it says "X" has no selection and cant launch

Can you upload your nonworking "X.(AdvMapHeroShared).xdb" file somewhere so I could download it and see what might be wrong.

never tried that do you know well I can upload free and safely?
u sure u want the hero.xdb ? bcz I used the same text for replacing existed hero is working though

sry, replied bit late, was busy with work.
My mod works now , I dont know how but now it is working! thx for all ur guys help, cant do it without u, now I can finally play a hero skill set that I really want!
the only thing left is the hero model change I dont know how to do it, I really want the hero be a paladin or archangel but I dont know how I only know how to change the anime set actions
I also want to give the hero a unicorn mount and a face of an angel, but all I know is simple text editing, I know it needs something much more than that,

Happy it's working now, however I can not help with model editing. Change the model of a hero or play with textures is easy, but editing model itself is not, especialy in H5. Maybe someone else will be willing to help you. Good luck.
