How can i remove the one feature that comes with Equilibris
Hello everyone. I want to remove the feature that comes with tactic.
In vanilla game, they we're increasing attack and defense 50% maximum. But equilibris feature additionally increaases +2.5% per 2 levels. How can i remove this +25% per 2 levels? It is making tactics skill overpowered in my mod.

Its in equi dll file. You must find 2.5% and replace by 0000.
|

There is no equi.dll file within my folders. But i found this one 4 times within heroes4.exe and changed the 00 00 20 40 to 00 00 00 00 then saved new exe but it didn't worked to me.

Started to game and i have tested it with champion. I gave him to grandmaster offense and increased offense 24 > 36. This is what i want. But it increased after hero levels and it was 44 i remembered.
Edit: I have verified something. It's in the Heroe4.exe probably. I have replaced my modified heroes4.exe with heroes4.exe (last change 2002) and it is increasing max 50%. But the question is, how can i find the 2.5? As i mentioned above, i found 4 values and changed them to 00 00 00 00 and there are the same files within the exe and they are exactly the same.

Use hexd editor with compare function. Moded exe and not moded. All changes will be visible.
All h4exes are the same, equi exe is only moded but still the same. And h4.dll means equi...

Still i am not familiar with these softwares. Can you give me the full title of the software? Because i couldn't find hexd editor.
And h4.dll = to equi? But why this +% bonus per hero level didn't worked with new exe? I am totally confused

Eg. Im using mobile HXD editor. Tools -> compare.
I had never search this 2,5% So I dont know. All of it is in dll.

Only still active ilive... Because this on must be interesting in h4.
You must compare your serching with equi changes
I have found there its not 2.5% but 5%!!! for 2 lvls. So you must search 5%! Always read what creator gives in description.

It says 2.5% in my version. By the way probably it will give many records when i try to search for 5. I don't know how to do properly.

But which one? I don't know how to search properly. By the way my mod contains starting skills changes, ability changes and i was barely edited these ones. I don't know how to find 2.5% per 2 hero levels in the .dll files. But as i mentioned above, this feature comes with the heroes4.exe because when i use the original exe, it is 50%.

Search 5% or 5 not 2,5%. Change and test. Dll is short.

But there are 10 records about that. Is is ok to change the records i don't know? I have changed all of them within heroes4.exe and game is crashing when i try to enter townscreens.

Only build hero high lvl in map editor and look in game at stats. Dont go to city.

Try both dll and exe. But in exe only if its added to equi exe. Dont touch non changed values.
