Jurors did a good job, by separating the process of the second amendment from the process of a young lad who went out to defend his city from armed left wing lunatics burning all around. And had a fraction of second to take action facing a lethal threat.
That doesn't mean America doesn't have to interrogate about the literal application of an outdated amendment, from times when muskets at best could fire 2 times in a minute.

In short - expect more bloodshed.
Which is probably alright. Natural selection and all. The social services should distribute weapons instead of coupons or money.
