Playing Heroes 3 on Retro PC - Pentium 233MMX

Hi all

Can anyone recommend me a good 2D/3D card for Heroes 3 on W98?
233MMX
Socket 7 i430
64mb ram (board supports up to 256mb)
CF card

I currently have a Diamond S3 2000 2MB ram + Voodoo 2
I want it to support full DOS 90> games.

I play Heroes 3, it runs a bit slow. Is it because of the 2MB I have on my S3?
I can't managed to get them working on the Voodoo 2 because it's not a 3D game.

I have an option to get a Savage 4 8MB or a Voodoo Banshee.
Would they perform better? that way I might not need the Voodoo 2?

You don't need a dedicated graphics card to play Heroes 3 and your specs are higher than recommended. Try to use the "cold CPU" patch. I always wondered if it helps running Heroes on machines from that era.
