NEW Modder here! Multiple Questions about Towns, Victory Conditions, etc
Context!
I'm making a 6x Player map (7 counting an NPC player, which will be AI only). The 6 players will start on top of map, and despite fighting each other Hero vs Hero, their main objective for all 6, is to defeat the 7th player castle. That's pretty much the summary.
So few questions;
1) I seen Castles having "Capture Trigger" options in the Town's Property Tree window, is this how I create the Victory Condition? Can someone help me understand how to create that?
2) With all the other towns (the 6 player's Ai/Human interchangeable castles), can I use this Capture Trigger to prevent any owner transferring of any of these 6 castles? I don't want players to capture each other's castles, subsequently getting all 6 factions on one side, and taking on the Hell that way. At most, if player attacks castle, it defeats the troops/hero within, but walks away, it still belongs to same player! Can this be done?
3) Does anyone know how to use the Regions for limiting players to cross into certain castles? As an alternate prospective idea, if I can't make Castles 1-6 "Non Transferable", than maybe preventing castle fights with Region barriers is the only way? I can't figure out how to use those Regions.
