Thread: Is there a way to make AI aggressive?

1-) Is someone knows what it means AI Priority within Campaign Editor?
I can set it to normal, high and vital

2-) I think i have discovered something important with AI. Fog of War is enabled for AI. When i put powerful army for AI in the empty map, it is roaming around the empty map for 3 weeks than attacks my town when discovered. But when i put dummy unit for AI in front of my town, it is rushing my town.

If you want to make AI more aggressive, simply give them the sight of your towns somehow. But can we verify this? AI have a Fog of War?

Normal, high and vital are little meanings.. You can give a artifact is normal value, another artifact is vital, so AI knows vital artifact is more important and meaning than normal.. If you give all vital, so all the game is the same as normal.. The best you give a few of high and vital.. Fog of War? In the GS, AI knows where you are, but WoW removed AI bonus, so AI doesn't know you are hiding nearby.. Yes GS is better than stupid WoW..

I suggest you give some vital, and AI takes and gets creature growthing or hero lvl, etc But you can't give 1000 Cyclopses in a day or week, thus AI sleeps.. I tested them.. You play with AI.. So beware give a AI bonus or vital.. When it can be only one time.. The same Pandora's box, AI bought Gold Mine, etc Known H4.. Laugh!

It has long been confirmed that giving the AI visibility of the map helps it tremendously since it no longer has to scout.

The advanced editor has an option to show the map to the AI.

Ok I must to try.. Thanks! OR I understand AI Enchanting scripts now.. But I'm using Time Event and other bonuses to AI.. I'll look later..

I must warn people that beta testers have found crash bugs in certain map features when enabling these kinds of "ai scripts", crashes not present in the unscripted maps.

Well, you can read it in the discord and I was able to reproduce it, something about perhaps the scripts displacing some bytes from the map objects, perhaps related to the map data being too large.

I can't reproduce it, and the case you have brought up would only happen in the most extreme of circumstances, and so doesn't warrant any sort of "warning" as you have done, as if there is something inherently wrong with the scripting or application of the scripts to a map.

I never used Advanced Editor myself, but played some maps that use AI scripts from it and never encountered any problems on both Equilibris and Enhancement Mod. AI feels much more active and agressive with scripts.

I also started working on AI improving plugin, there is some progress!

Believe it or not, but with test version of my AI improvements on Champion difficulty AI came after me on day 4 week 1. It's "The Dragons Wrath" map from original H4, red AI has black dragons from the start and direct portal to locations of all players

Had you played my Untrue World I (H4)?

Ok mods should be improved AI, adds on object, fix a bug.. Not nobility to thief..
