Some interesting ideas here. You need a bit more description though, such as whether creatures are flyers or walkers, and some other basic abilities (are any of them spellcasters f.e.?).

Okay, let's check this out
* Kingdom - Not good, in that removing the few non-humans makes the faction even more limited and boring than it was already. There's now no flyers, which will make terrain a real issue.
* Hell - An interesting lineup.
* Feywild - A couple of interesting choices here.
* Tribe - Fairly 'typical' for a town of this kind, but not necessarily boring. The Sand Worm is an interesting addition.
* Conflux - A interesting mix. A more jungle-like terrain, rather than a desert one?
* Dungeon - Similar enough to the standard, with enough differences to make it interesting.
* Necropolis - Hm, very similar to standard.
Overall, not a bad set of lineups, excepting Kingdom.

Yeah, kingdom has no humans because I was trying to make it a "town with no magic units", but I can see how it can be unlikeable.

Ok, I might consider changing it, but for now I'll just add it as a possible replacement lineup.
Anyway, here comes my idea for the story of HoMM8:
Kingdom
Worshippers of the light god Seluras, the humans of the nation Elemor have dedicated themselves to destroying and thwarting the forces of evil, particularly the forces of Hell. Their society is especially religious-based with high priests of Seluras possessing as much power as the king's 2nd in command himself. Elemor was founded among the pieces of the previous human kingdom Arabor, whose king was corrupted by a devil, and fell. Only a handful of humans survived the demon onslaught, and they are the ancestors of the humans of present day Elemor.
Hell
The demons of Hell have always dreamed of ruling the world, and just 300 years ago that dream almost came true, with the humans of Arabor having a corrupted king, the wizards of Acadia in chaos from portals to Hell opening all over their country, the elves of the Feywild having their nation set alight by large demon forces, and the sorcerers of Darkoril
being overcome by the warlocks' fire magic. But for the first time in the history of Gargoroth (the world the game is set in) all races united to stop the hellish invasion, which is why demons despise all races.
