Editing 32 version of map in WOG editor (28 ver)
Hello lads,
I've been working on maps for my nephews for some time now, but aparently I did not forsee one very big thing.
I cannot copy certain segments of a map I created... So I would need to manually recreate it, which would take probably tens of hours if not more.
Ive been researching a bit about this issue (even asked chatGPT, lol)
Aparently the only way to copy segments of the map is via wog editor, ERA 3 or whatever.
Obviously i installed it, and checked - yes, indeed I can copy segments of the map.
Problem is that I cannot open my maps in the newly obtained editor, due to "INVALID MAP FILE VERSION" issue. As mentioned in topic- my maps are in 32 file version, while WOG editor is in 28.
I think I have newest version of that editor, downloaded the copy from this forum.
Anyone knows how I can workaround this iussue? I have created a huge amount of areas, but the best ones are in different files and I would just LOVE to compile them into one, ultra big one.
I'd appreciate any insights !

32 is HotA, 28 is SoD. Nope, you cannot edit HotA maps in the WoG or SoD editors. The only way to copy parts of the map in HotA would be to make a script to directly edit the bytes of the map file.

Very interesting...
If anyone knows more I would very much appreciate it, especially if it would for example... direct me to the lads who know how to ship the data from files.
I mean i dont have the hours to figure it out, or maybe the brains.
