Poll Question:
Inteus the Elementalist hero
When I started Heroes 3 Wog/ERA, and I got a Fortress, so the main hero is Verdish, I don't like her, and I checked up on tavern, in there Inteus in the first day, I bought/hired him as a main hero.. I'm satisfied, but maybe I never* played with him in a Conflux, because of Bloodlust to two shooters, Magic Elemental and Phoenix?! It can't working at Conflux, but other team.. So Inteus is a powerful hero! Ok.. You know that many and different heroes are mixed in a tavern, thus you can play Necromancers, Jeddite, Kyrre, etc so the same matter is Inteus! When you meet a poor hero in your race and team, you can hire hero becomes scout or enemies buy heroes.. No only Inteus but also other heroes.. An example of Sylvia, Voy, etc But lesser useful to Necropolis, thus Necromancy.. You must look it! When Rissa for Inferno, Conflux or Necropolis.. Players buy so many heroes, but I noticed no Rissa, etc If Rissa has Gem, so you say the best hero..
*When I bought/hired him sometimes, when Diplomacy or known map(s), where are towns (near by towns), but the result isn't a good..

You are right, Inteus can be used at other towns, (Fortress is a little weird with Fire Magic though, Water seems much better for Fortress.) at Conflux he is absolutely stupid though. Even at Inferno Bloodlust won't work on efreet x 2 and Rampart and Dungeon dragons x 2.
If at least Bloodlust was'nt blocked by fire immunity, perhaps it would be worth something.

From what I know, Bloodlust affects ranged units even if Precision doesn't affect melee units. As a matter of fact, the only time I can recall to use it was cause my blocked ranged units with melee penalty wouldn't kill enemy stacks at once but after buffed they would.

Bloodlust works on ranged units yeah, but then they need to be fighting in melee, which is probably not what you wanna do with ranged units, except for Titans maybe.

Yeah, I agree Intenius isn't very well designed, and feels like he's another example of hastily built Conflux.
However, if one would simply move Intenius to another town just as he is, the town would acquire pretty good mage all things considered. The Elementalist tag is pretty valuable, as the class has +1 stat point compared to other mages, and all the stats are being put on spell power and knowledge. Also, simply starting with any school of magic is a very considerable advantage. With a quick estimate, I would guess he would among the best magic heroes in many towns, and at least an average spellcaster on others, and this is basically before really taking his specialty into account.
Whereas the Bloodlust spell and the specialty would be more valuable for some other towns, the usefulness of the spell isn't that long-lasting even if the faction would be changed. Bloodlust, even as masterted and improved, isn't really that neat trick as the game progresses. Sure it's cheap, but often times there are better, or simply put more mandatory spells to be cast "first." Therefore, even when Conflux army syngerigies unfavorably with Bloodlust as the game progressess, it would still be a very fine cast during week 1, perhaps even on week 2. But realisticially, that's basically the same time window even for other towns. Why keep using Bloodlust, if you have access to top spells, and even something like normal mastered Bless is often better anyway?
Personally I think people kinda overvalue and think too much about the specialty on these kinds of more average heroes. Only really the top cream of all heroes start with amazing specialties and good starting skills, so the more average Joe heroes should mostly be rated with their starting secondary skills + potential spells.

Ok I failed to show my bro and the AI.. Inteus had Wisdom, Fire, Water, Air, Offense, Pathfinding, Earth, and Diplomacy, but level 3 of spells, and two secondary skills are still unavailable.. So 13 Chaos Hydras, etc went to join netural of Fortress, but AI was surprised me with small troops without level 6 and 7, only largest Dendroids were pack (14), enemy heroine was over 25 primary skills as a natural AI mod vs 1/9/10/9.. Ok enemy had Shackles of War, implosion, and resurrection, and then her commander with over 4500 HP, etc
Why? Rarely Inteus  Nice Chaos Hydras were 27 attack.. But Bloodlust and Bless are
