Improving Creature Units
My idea is that gropus of creatures should be able to upgrade their skills. I'm not talking about things such as hero skills (i,e, Scouting) but being able to upgrade the unit's strenghts, speeds ,magical resistances and such.
I believe that once a stack gains enough experience, they should "level up" (i,e, LEVEL 6 DWARVEN STACK).
I have an alternative to this, being that you can "buy" experience (thought only for a limited amount of levels), this could be done in a creature training ground.

But what would happen if you would put 6 level dwarfs and 1 level dwars together? I don't think it would work.

This has been discussed before, and it sound's good
One thing I remember from your question Le- Is the experience would be combined, algabraic stuff.. And an outcome of somewhere in between the level 6&1 stack's.
Sound's good.
I think it would make the game to different though.. A HUGE new feature, you know? When right clicking creature's and everything. Nah
Peon's are peon's

Ok, experience combined, that might work. But let's imagine you have 100 level 5 dwarves, get 321 level 2 dwarves from another guy, buy some level 1 dwarves from a dwelling. Then you split them to 7 stacks. How would tell the good dwarves from lousy dwarves? How would the computer arrange these dwarves? And if it would work, it would make this game too complicated (in my opinion) and then the idea of heroes wouldn't be so great.

Idea is good, works for other games, but it doesn't work for Heroes series. Because each stack has more than 1 quantity. You can't award the entire stack of troops or it would create balance issues. Someone with a stack of one black dragon could get a level up.. But if their stack had 10 black dragons, then all 10 of them would get a level up.
It only works for games like MOM and AOW where each unit is represented single.
