No problems here except the memory leaks of course.
(No patch, I have the EURO "not important enough for a patch" version)

If you could post your system specs i think we can help you.
You have to be very detailed and also for the OS you using.
If you have 73% free recources something is not right in your computer.
Press Ctrl-Alt-Del and see what applications are running there.
I think its one of this that causing the problem.
Be sure that we will find a solution if you can be very specific about system specs.

Just a few probably stupid questions but...
Do you have an up to date virus checker ?
Are your drivers up to date ?
Is your DirectX version up to date ?
Have you tried a fresh install of windows ?
(Corrupt windows installs are the #1 reason why * won't run as it should)

we shouldnt have to do zip to our coms to get the game to work if its well inside the min requirements. Ive had crashes many at time on the coms turns later on in the game, pretty damn annoying but like ive said in other thread its the best way to get it to back to windows. The quit button you say?? No dont touch that it crashes my com so i have to restart it.

I think another problem is that people tend to have too much crap running in Windows. Lets face it, it's not the best operating system, (just marketed the best).
All those backround things mess up the system. All those little icon's down at the bottom are there to cause problems.
I have next to nothing down in the task bar or Start up area and I have very little problem running anything. I don't even use a wallpaper or screen saver, (trouble makers!).
My friend had a lot of trouble with his system and I suggested he get rid of all that backround junk. It helped him tremendusly.
My system is probably middle of the road to what the rest of you have; 866pent, 192ram, 32meg vid., 35gigs free HDD space, and, Oh, it even came with a Mouse!
I didn't even have trouble with pool of Radiance until I used the Invisibilty Spell.
No, I'm not an H4 owner yet 'cos the price is now $80 and it sounds like it's only worth about $20. So, I'll wait, as sould have everyone else. Hey, if people arn't buying the price has to drop. I think we'd at least feel better about buying sub-standard software then.
