1.3 patch and game update
Taken from 3DO:
Multiplayer Updates
We are well aware of the demand for the Multiplayer Update. And while living up to this demand, the Heroes development, and Customer Support teams feel that the over-all game balance and stability (aka: addressing customer reported issues) should also be addressed as quickly as possible. We apologize if this is perceived as an inconvience, but please be assured that a Multiplayer Update will be avaliable soon via GameUpdate or via this update page.
Am I the only one or is it just my EURO version that has no GAME UPDATE!
Sure I can use the game update from HOMM3 but that's not the point what if I didn't have HOMM3?!?

I didn't check, but maybe it doesn't install Game Upadate in HoMM 4 because you already have it in HoMM 3... and if it is, it's good, because we have no need for two identical upadaters.
I might be wrong though...

It's good you are, Lith!
I do have Game Update.. I used it for the 1.3 ... and it Downloaded the US version!!!
Then I checked the International Patches page (where you can d/l the UK 1.3) and noticed that Game Update isn't an option.. so, Game Update is for US only... I ended up downloading the patch from CHU (File-Planet), and that's my reccomendation for everyone.

I noticed that the 1.2 and 1.3 patch showed up on the gameupdate from HOMM3 but knew better than to download them.
3DO must think that we all know what we're doing.
I'm sure there are those who were fooled too and downloaded the wrong patch!
