Have somebody any idea what to do with minotaurs and their blocks?
10 faeries attacked 3 minotaures minotaurs blocked the attack!
I think we must "terror" NWC before they did les procent of minotaur's block or missions versus asylum and good partner will destroy all your possibilities to win and will crash your nerves!

Attack them again and again.. They can't block every shot. And I don't think they block magic (though I could be wrong) so try your fairy dragon's magic attacks instead.

the minotaurs blocking ability depends on the strenght of the attacking stack compared the the minotaur stack. So if your playing stronghold, where there is no magic, hit the stack with your most powerful one first to weaken it up and then hit it with your other stacks. I like to use harpies against them because block or not, there is no retaliation.

Everyone here's right. You have to hit the Minotaurs with magic. Also, I would suggest fighting fire with fire in this instance (although it goes against the dogma of the FAQ). Play as Asylum, and get Medusas. That way, the Medusas can shoot the minotaurs, and for me, regardless of whether they block or not, the stone gaze always kills off enough to make me happy

Yeah but somehow that 25% seems to be the 25% tha I attack the computer's stack.
The 75% where it hits seems to be when someone attacks MY minotaurs - when I have minotaurs. Medusas are way better.

With Preserve you can have water elementals and they have cool offensive magic. The heaven though may have a problem with the minotaurs. If I play heaven I would target them last ...

Best way to deal with Minotaurs? Magic.. in two ways.
The Minos can't block spells, and their defense don't work against speels either, so yeah damage spells are good. Also good is speels like Slow, Teleport or even Displacement so they don't all get to you at the same time.
Just keep attacking them. They can't live forever and all your 4th level creatures need is one good hit.

Non-magic anti-minotaur tactics.
Haven's good against minotaurs, just for the fact always having multiple shooting stacks. They block your monks? Fine, let the hero w/bow deal with them. They block the hero? Fine, let the crossbowmen deal with them. Unless you're under serious pressure in the combat, you can kill a fair number of minotaurs each round.
Lith-Maethor and drlucifer also bring up a good point. A high damage level 4 creature will kill the stack easily. You can afford to have one attack blocked if the next incoming blow is a guaranteed coup de gras.

Obviously magic damage is the way to go since Minotaurs can't block spells.
However, there seems to be another way if melee attacks have to be used. If you know that a Minotaur stack has a retaliation pending, then attack it with one of your stacks that doesn't have a first strike ability or no retaliation ability. Why you ask? If the minotaur has a retaliation pending, then when you attack it, it will attack you. This means your attack will get through because the minotaur can't block and attack at the same time. If the minotaur can't retaliate, then it will get a chance to block your attack.
Hope I explained that well enough.

LOL... noobs
Of course Vince is right, since when minotaur is attacking you and you are retalating at the same time, he can't do 2 actions at the same time. That means block and attack.
