dragonsister I looked at the site and found it wonderful: so many maps...but isn't it possible to find any maps of In the Wake of Gods before the competition finishes?(there is one map of HOMM 3.5 in the site)

I'm sorry, but there has only been one WoG map submitted to MapHaven so far! I think most WoG maps are submitted only to the WoG site itself - there don't seem to be all that many WoG mapmakers, and MapHaven doesn't have that high a profile with them yet. Hopefully the competition will do something about all these things - that's why Fnord and Slava and Angelspit were all keen on the idea. :-)

I see... hope to see good maps after that competition so that this site will be a better resource for HOMM players...(It's already a perfect one such that I haven't saw any kind that gives a chance to choose what type of map you are looking for yet)

(Confused)
Do you mean you're wondering how to search maps by 'style'? That's one of the many options in the 'Advanced' search ... but it does depend on mapmakers entering that information, which hasn't happened for the bulk of Heroes 3 maps (because they were all submitted originally to AstralWizard.)

Hard to say. No entries at all were received by MapHaven for the last one so I'm not sure if DragonSister will bother holding another WoG competition without some assurance that there would be entries.

I never knew there was one LOL. I will update my tournament site to try to get some mapmakers to send some in. Not that my site is that big either as far as tourney sites go. But is about the only WoG one I know of LOL

Well the last one closed awhile back. The current competition at MapHaven is for H4.
And I'm afraid it wouldn't do much good to get people to send entries ahead of time because each competition has a unique theme and restrictions.
But maybe you could run a map competition from your WoG tourney site instead? I'm sure the other sites like Celestial Heavens and MapHaven would support it as well with announcements and stuff.
