But have you tried AOW 2? I tried it and erased it within the same day of tryin it..just couldnt get into it. I especially hate the small character sizes. and I really couldnt get past the look of the game to actually play it much..

The graphics might be different and you might like them a lot less, but that's hardly a reason to give up on a game about strategy so quickly IMO. Too bad for you, because there's a really deep game under the shell. Hopefully they do something with their ranking system, this was my favorite place to game online, simply because of the method used.
Anyway, you've already said you've lost your patience with strategy games, so perhaps that is why the short attention span. NWN is coming out this week, which I remember you said you were looking out for that, so that might be your answer.
It's sad that the gaming environment/game i loved so much is looking like it is not going to happen again. Well, here's to hoping ToH is as good as it once was (when i played).

actually...
Its not so much the graphics, as it is the user friendliness of the graphics that I disliked. things seemed small and hard on the eyes...Id prolly need glasses after playing that game

Age of wonders 2
The game blows disciples 2 outta the water, i think the graphics are great. ifn it's too small resize it, i think the graphics are comparable to heroes 4.The music is nice and the combat system is cool. I especially like how magic needs to be researched.I need to play more of the campaigns : o)
I also like how the army needs to be built and not generated weekly.The units also gain experience, which is kinda disciplish but adds rpg elements.
Overall i give it a 8/10 score, well worth it.

maybe ill give it another shot...
maybe i wasnt in the mood to play a game when i played it, but I suppose i can try it again. Never know...it could be the next game TOH Supports

Damn, while tryin to play H4, ughh, i feel like Mr. Magoo.
It'll be a cold day in Hell before I go and buy a 22" monitor.(unless the lesbos come with it), just for H4.
