My username is quite simple, actually...
The first HOMM game I played was Heroes 2, when I was 7. For whatever reason, Vesper was one of my favorite characters, and I continued to use him when I finally played Heroes 1 in 5th grade. I used to call him "Vespie," just for kicks.
My preferred heroes have changed quite a bit in the last 13 years (especially with Heroes 3 dominating my existence and its lack of Vesper), but I decided to give a little shout out to my Heroes roots.

Well now... No idea where Gnomes came from, it just happens to be my e-mail address which I made at the spur of the moment.
2169, on the other had, has a slightly convoluted story that I'm not getting into. Basically, it is the number of my FIRST Robotics team (FRC), and it is not a dirty number!!! Sure 21 is the legal drinking age, and 69 is just a very suggestive number... But that is beside the point I'm trying to make here. Together, 21 and 69 come together to make the number of the winningest team in Minnesota!

Oh, that's a fun one.
Back in the times when I was a wee tyke, there was a city sim game known as Pharaoh. Set in ancient Egypt, duh. It seems to be still somewhat known...
Anyway, my name is one of the possible ones from there, given to some civilians and possibly yourself if you choose it.
I chose to use it as an username across the Internet because I had no better idea and it seemed fun at the time.
It still does. Especially mass debates on how to pronounce it.

This is one of my two nicknames. It's because I'm awake until very late at night and like night more than day.
The other nickname is gross indecency. That is the official name of the sentence given to Oscar Wilde because of his homosexuality.

I used this nickname when I saw the skeleton archer picture. They say that he hates all living in the game, but his face does not look like "I hate everything" it looks more like he is smiling. So thats why I chose HappySkeleton.
Btw here is the link to the picture:

A long time ago in a land far, far away (ok, maybe only half a continent. ), I was a regular teen gamer, loved games like Monkey Island, all of the Zelda games, and many more. I mostly used Macintosh computers. I know, it may seem silly or lame, but I chose and still like the username. My how time passes...that was 11 or 12 years ago!

I have had this since I played the original Shogun, and have kept it since.
Back in the day, when I was a far more honourable person it made sense, but with age comes wisdom, with wisdom comes acceptance, with acceptance comes the acknowledgement that honour is all well and good but it does not get you paid well
