HOMM4 vs Age of Wonders 2...
As you know, i don't like HOMM4, but HOMM2 & 3 is the best ever.
Those who played Age of Wonders 2 already, please tell me, is it better than HOMM4 ?
I have tried AOW2, man... its really good than homm4.

Good, but not nearly as good as HoMM4. Graphics are awful but music is great. AI is good but AI's turns take ages and you can still fool the AI when it comes to castle sieges. Borrows too much from Warlords but still dropping behind it.
If you want to know a good game here's one: Fantasy General. Even though it is a 6 years old game its combat system is without an equal when it comes for Fantasy Strategy Games. Music is great and graphics are good when you take into notice that it is an old game now. AI is good but it is not a match for experienced player without help. Campaign is good as well. Try contacting SSI for the game.

Age of Wonders II is good. I have not played HOMM4 (lousy old computer...). They've got some really good concepts in it (for instance, I really like the way that battles take place between multiple stacks rather than the old 2-at-a-time method). The tactical system is good although, as usual, the computer doesn't know how to exploit terrain and makes really stupid decisions as such. Global spells are nice. Basically, I'm probably going to finish the campaign and probably never play again after that. Good game, doesn't seem to have much replay value. (which is actually how I feel about Fantasy General, too)
You want a really good old school fantasy strategy game? Master of Magic. WHY hasn't somebody just made a direct sequel to that game? Might be the single best fantasy strategy game ever. Bar none.

AOW2 is a lot like masters of magic, it is lot more like MOM then to heroes 4.
In the moment the only computers game that I have instaled are Heroes 4, AOW2 and Disciples 2 and I just concluded that they are all very diferent games and that they shouldn't be compared. Heroes 4 is a lot more like a complex chess game, disciples 2 is more like a diferent kind of rpg and AOW2 is like a 4X strategy game.

Wonderful game, AOW2. Probably not as addictive as HOMM3, but I absolutely love the glow affects, particle system and magical graphics for AOW2. It is everything I wanted HOMM4 to be and more.

...eh, it's decent but at least in my opinion, HoMM4 is still much better.

I didn't said that graphics matter much for me. If they would, I wouldn't even touch that game. If it follows the pattern of AoW 1, well, then they are both ugly!
I haven't played MoM but AoW borrows a lot from Warlords as well.
