Better looking-moving heroes
I think everybody enjoys the diversity of heroes-looking in h4, but there is a lot of room for better.
1.They should start modifying the appereance of the hero during his evolution:
I.After collecting artifacts I would enjoy to see the new armor that I've got shining on him.Same with weapons, whields and helmets.(I agree rings and other items wouldn't make such a difference... )
II.After climbing several levels and moving to a different class could alter the looks: by color of clothes (showing rank) and hair (showing perhaps wisdom (?!)) and others...
2.The spells need to be more interesting. Some of them are already impressive, but:
- the hero hardly moves an inch in casting them ( a cheap spell of few mana points is easy to cast, but for a disintegration or chain lightning or something like that perhaps a ritual, an invocation with praying and kneeling would be appropriated. And appreciated.
- then the spells themselves....some are too "narrow".
They could certainly come up with better animations for spells involving shielding, morale, luck, etc. (I remember with great pleasure of the luck in the form of a huge rainbow crossing the whole screen in Heroes 2 - see what I mean? I want larger manifestations, not a bird poop on the head of the creature...)

Yes, I wish we could have those, but I don't think that's going to happen ever unless they move to 3D. Every change made to the hero's appearance through artifacts will need to be re-rendered. I would love to have this, but if 3DO can't even give us multiplayer on time, I doubt they're going to go out of their way to improve the animations and models.

Good idea Vlad.
The way it's now is too simple. They should allow at least a few styles of armour on the battlefield.
Personally, I'd rate seeing the actual races of the Hero on the battle-field instead of every Hero being a human as priority #2. (Before head-gear and shields and weapon.)
Still it's a lot of new animations but other games have them so why not Heroes 3.
