Lol, Aculias. There aren't that many forums here. Most of them are for HOMM, so the Football thread should be easy to find, even easier if you use the Search function.
Now, I don't know if this has been mentioned, but would it be possible (for those that don't copy and paste their posts into Word or Notepad etc), that there could be an added feature that would allow the user to save a draft of their post. It could remain invisible in the thread if it is posted, and only when the user enables it, then it can be revealed. It might help those that don't want to or are too lazy to copy and paste their documents into word and it could act like a post but just can't be seen. I wouldn't imagine that this would require any QP's or such since if this was to happen then I think it should apply too most members regardless of QP count because this can happen to all of us.
What do you all think of this idea?

It's a nice idea, but somehow I have a feeling it's pretty hard to implement...

Perhaps, but it would be very useful. What do you think if any user gets a special filesapce where he can store files for HC?

Well, there hasn't been a new forum made in quite a while, I think.
Btw Asheera, couldn't you give more of a feedback than that? I had to do that with your thread about BB codes.

Well what can I say about it?
Ok, here's something: maybe just a simple "preview" like in CH would be enough? Where you can preview the post before actually posting it? I mean, it's almost the same thing, but I think it's easier to implement
EDIT
I say it's better if the "delete post" feature is not available if someone posted after you, exactly like it works at CH.

What sense would that make? If you want to delete your post you want to delete it. Why should you be stoped by the fact that someone posted after you?

@ Azagal
Yeah exactly. Then what good would the Delete function be?

Why would you want to delete it? If someone posts after you, it probably also replied to your post. Being allowed to delete it can make up abuses, like DarkShadow did multiple times
If you don't want it, why post it in the first place? Sure, there are sometimes "mistakes" (posting and then seeing that someone else posted in the mean time and screwed your turn in the word game or something similar), but that's why it should still be available, but not if someone posted

Well what if it didn't reply to you? What if the person who posted their post doesn't like it anymore and decides it is better to delete it? If someone deletes a post and about 10 other people have replied to it then I can understand why you would want this feature, but if a person wants to delete their reply then just let them. This hasn't been too big of a problem here at HC and I wouldn't see the point in it.

I agree, but situations in which you need to delete your post are very rare, not to mention you can always edit it to something null
If you REALLY want your post deleted you can ask a Moderator (if the delete function is limited like in my suggestion)

No, because it will prevent abuses. While serious situations in which you need to delete your posts are rare, spammers can abuse this feature a lot

But there have hardly been any abuses. The only ones that I can think of are ones in the VW or ones that happened ages ago with the skellie King stuff. Why would you want to introduce something that hasn't been a problem probably since this site started?

Then that is where the user who looks bad can just delete their own post or edit it. Simple as that. I don't see what this feature would accomplish at all.
