The decepticons didn't have any dinobots, thank god. They had the Predacons who combined to form Predaking.
Cat, the hydra that you're talking about was the leader(ergo, torso) of the Terrocons.
Hexa, man I couln't stand Starscream. How could someone with that pea-shooter that he had on his arm hope to compete with the mighty Megatron!?
I don't know of any transformer who had 6 shapes. There were two triple transformers for the Decepticons...Astrotrain and the jet/tank/humanoid one. I think his name was Blitzkrieg. Or was Blitzkrieg one of the Combaticons?
Speaking of the movie...good lord...when the Constructicons combined to become Devastator he finally whomped some dino-butt! Usually in the cartoons he was an idiot.
I loved all the Decepticons that combined into a big, bad ass. Combaticons into Bruticus; Stunticons into Menosor(I think that's how his name was spelled.
For Christmas when I was 12, I begged and pleaded with my parents to get me Trypticon, the Decepticon city. I was happier than a pig in s_h_i_t when I actually got him.

Wo0t!
Quote: Out of curiosity, did anybody else's parents get them go-bots instead since they were cheaper?
Nope, but my mother had suggested it many times. And every time he did so my brother and I would stage a pseudo mutiny that ended in strong protest. Immediately upon hearing news of the outcry my grandpa would swoop in and save us with authentic transformers. There's no substitute for the real deal! I believe the ultimate one we both got was delivered on christmas one year. It was called: "Omega Supreme". Oh what a sweet deal that was. It was indeed a good year for my brother and I!
